Overall was fine

It was ok the only thing was it stated in the website refrigerator included and there was none but there was a microwave and there soda machine had no label so I didn't know what I was getting and it took some of my money some sodas were not full.

This was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and I sleep good. This is a cool place to stay.

We love staying at Laurel Inn, however the floors are nasty. I take my own mop for the rooms without carpet, this time we stayed in a suite and it was carpeted, after my granddaughter got out of the bathtub and ran to her mommy her little feet were black.

It’s a very basic motel. I thought it would be fun to get us a room with a fireplace since we never go out but got into our room to discover the fireplace didn’t work. We called the front desk and they said they’d send maintenance but no one ever came. I’m disappointed I paid more for that feature. Also, there were ants on the bathroom counter, brown mystery splatters all over the back of the bathroom door and an extremely dusty coffee maker that looked like it hadn’t been used for an extended length of time. The bed was comfy though it was hard to sleep with our room facing the busy highway. I don’t think we’d stay again.

The hotel is in bad need of refurbishing. It's age is showing in the most negative way.

This hotel is super dated! The carpets was old and threadbare, there were spots you could see the subflooring, the carpet was sticky, we had to wear shoes the whole time. There was mold all over the bathrrom, the paint was pealing off the walls. None of the wall outlets would hold two-prong plug ins, three prong would stay in. The whole place smelled musty. The ice machine was disgusting (it was unplugged thank goodness). The blinds were ripped and sticky. At least the bedding was clean and smelled nice and the bed was fine for a night of sleeping. The layout of the rooms were good, but the hotel does not have much going for it. It is in desperate need of upgrades and updates.

, The carpet was horrible, tears and dirty through out, it smelled like smoke the television did not work,room was very grossly dirty, I started getting itchy all over after laying on the bed with in the hour. I called to complain, after my 3rd call I was told no one was available to speak to, when I asked for a receipt I was told it would be mailed to me and to contact Hotels.com for my complaints.

Room was not very clean, hairdryer did not work, no soap or shampoo.

Ok for the money

The room was dirty floor needed to be swept and mop , bathroom needs to be clean someone pubic hairs were on the floors, remote to tv was sticky and dirty and the room smells like cigarettes and weed, and you can tell there was a prostitution going on in the rooms next to our room.

Staff was amazing and helped me when needed it was excellent service

This is not a place for family’s. The breakfast was practically non existent. The pool and hot tub were full of leaves and debris and the first night we arrived there was a girl wearing lingerie. The hotel was not clean and honestly one of the worst places we have stayed

Room needs an upgrade. Tv wasn’t working some outlets were broken or falling apart.

The place was good value for money but it is a bit outside of Salinas, so there is nothing around. Staff was very gentle but facilities a bit aged

Water run cold in showers and no cable in the rooms.

Stay was great I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast. It would have been great if there was actual food like eggs, sausages or bacon.

No A.C, sink leaked, toilet broken everywhere was filthy, and prostitute 2 doors down from my room!

The receptionist shared my name and the name of another person with two male guests while struggling to find their reservation. The TV remote was broken and my children were unable to use the TV. I called twice and was told someone would come but never came. Im very concerned that guests names are so wasily shared with ramdom strangers. This is a serious breach of confidentiality and safety issue. Please be sure to correct this concern.

The air conditioner didn't work. I was so tired I didn't say anything about it. It's a place to sleep and bathe that is relatively clean.

It was okay, the beds need improvement urgently. And very noisy.

Air conditioning quit working after the first night. Hotel was fully booked, so they were not able to move us to another room. Hot tub water was green. Hotel was not as advertised in photos or ratings. Will not stay there again.

The TV did not work, the air conditioning did not work, there was no housekeeping (due to short staffing), and the floor was so dirty my feet were black after walking across it. There was also what appeared to be blood spatter on the curtains (which also did not work).

Excellent location

Very dirty, ice machine broken and moldy bagel.

Staff was lovely, but the room wasn’t clean upon arrival… asked staff to vacuum and they happily did so. Close to freeway and lots of street noise
