Went to visit my daughter in Boone NC, Check in was great, staff was friendly, Thought this was a NON SMOKING Hotel, smelled marijuana on first and second floors, ALL WEEKEND!! Hey I dont care what they do, but do that crap OUTSIDE!! Staff did NOTHING about it!! On top of ALL THAT had to evacuate due to fire alarm going off due to way to much humidity in the pool short circuiting the fire alarm pull station in the pool area, by the way it was 18 degrees that night!!

Child was awakened multiple times because the air con unit kept switching on/off noisily once room temperature stabilized. Eventually had to switch it off.
Plumbing in shower was messed up (couldn't consistently divert water to shower head and temperature control was erratic).

The La Quinta Inn and Suite in Boone is our go to hotel when we are in the area! No surprises, clean, modern room, great amenities, always a nice stay and great people!

Very nice staff. Enjoyed the breakfast & outdoor area. We sat outside to relax on the porch & have drinks. It was easy to drive around Boone & Blowing Rock from this location.

Ice machine was broken. Room smelled of wet dog. In room amenities did not get refilled. Front desk staff was great. Very friendly and helpful and very apologetic when they couldn’t extend my stay because of third party booking. Breakfast day two was lackluster. Eggs were burnt, potatoes undercooked and biscuits were hard and I was first one in the dining area that morning.

We always stay at this hotel when visiting Boone with our dog. Nice big rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast choices. Warm cookies in the afternoon/evening. Looks like a nice pool and hot tub, but we didn’t use it. Nice places to sit outside.

From check in to check out every staff member was helpful and kind. Our room was clean. The breakfast was good. It’s such a great central location. We will definitely stay again.

The room was spotless, and the front desk personnel were fantastic and friendly. It is also dog-friendly! The location is good, close to downtown Boone and surrounding areas such as Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. I will stay here again!

We stayed here during a family vacation and loved it. We usually book a condo but decided to try a hotel to be closer to Boone. We visited the pool/hot tub daily and it was always clean and well maintained. The entire property was clean and well designed. We really enjoyed the outside decks and porches. The breakfast is fresh and has several options.

I booked this property due to the central location to Boone. Confirmed our arrival at 3pm and our room was not ready. Staff told us they would call when cleaned but didn’t. Had to find a cleaning staff member to get it cleaned up. We traveled with two small pets and very disappointed in the manner the property was kept clean of pet waste. Receptacles had not been emptied and were full. Waste EVERYWHERE you stepped. It was disgusting! There is no good area to walk pets if you are traveling with them. Our room was not cleaned for the 3 days we were there even when we had removed our Do Not Disturb sign. I will not stay here for any future trips to Boone.

The stay was great and the staff was very friendly. Our only complaint was that the room had a slight musty smell but it was tolerable. The cleaning staff was also friendly and helped out whenever needed.
