Stayed in a “business room” which was actually a one bedroom suite. Large and comfortable although the decor was a little tired. Breakfast included was surprisingly good for “continental” (even had scrambled eggs, sausages and pancakes), but actual plates and cutlery, as opposed to paper and cardboard, would be preferred. Fitness facility was tiny - not sure why they even bothered. Appreciated proximity to the university, which was why I chose this hotel.

Very clean and up to date furnishings. Good selection for breakfast. Close convenient parking and friendly staff, and our room even included a recycling bin.

Only bad thing was the carpet in the elevator was really disgusting. The carpet overall in the hotel was bleh. No idea why hotels always have carpet…it’s disgusting. Other than that, the room was comfy. Loved that they had Dove soap products in the washroom.

Coming in after dark is scary…..the driveway is almost invisible and the signage on building can not be seen when approaching because of the trees…..absolutely needs a sign on street…..

Queen room was spacious and extremely clean. The beds was firm, but, comfy. The property was clean. The breakfast was typical fare. It was nice that they offered fresh fruit and had a pancake machine. The breakfast attendant was amazing. She was so friendly and efficient!! She made everyone feel welcomed.

Room was nice and roomy with good work station. A/C too loud and wakes you up in the night.

The hotel room was excellent and a good location. A nice restaurant two doors down saved driving after a long day.
The exercise facility was run down and not well maintained. It was minimal but that's OK if everything is functional, which it wasn't. Commonly used lighter free weights were missing, the bike had no resistance feature that worked, the screen on the elliptical trainer was hatched; the treadmill was fine. Disappointing!
The website said it had a pool/hot tub; it didn't. When asked, the front desk staff said "Our other two hotels here do have pools but we don't ay this facility". Misleading ......

On arrival, I put my bag on the chair in the room, and saw something on the floor behind the table. It was a dirty sock. The young man in the lobby just said “oh” when I told him.

The building is very old, and first floor is strange smell, people may need to go upper floors.

Staff was very nice. The room had a bit of a funky smell and the walls had spots that were dark on them but overall it was okay. The carpet also had a few stains but the bed was comfy. Good parking for small trailers and tim Hortons within a walking distance.
