The room was very dated. Bathroom was in very poor shape. The mattresses were very old and hard.
The only thing good about this property is the view.

Easy and fast check in. Friendly people who checked us in. We were able to park our truck and drift boat right in front of our room. A good place to stay if you’re in town to fish.

Great staff, the hotel is the very basic. Dead bugs (greatful no live ones) and floor felt dirty with filthy/stained chair we didn’t want to use. It did have enough beds for 6 of us, but the rate did not meet the quality by any means.

The room was pretty lived in. The thing that threw me was the floor was really dirty. I was walking around barefoot and my feet were black at the end of the night. Also I had some dead ants on the dog's bed which I know we didn't bring. The room also needed a good dusting. But for the price, it wasn't bad.

This hotel was no where near what it showed on hotels.com. Our family walked in to the room and immediately walked out because of how nasty it was. Bed was covered in stains, black feet marks on the walls, bathroom remodeled in 1970’s and not clean. Lobby even smelled. Only pleasant part was the staff was nice.
Went across the street to stay at a different hotel for 50$ cheaper and it was clean! Staff also friendly.

I've stayed here a few times. I guess you get what you pay for. It smelled like dirt or something dirty the last time I stayed there. It was very outdated. The bathroom needed work. But the bed was comfortable in the service was great

Location is convenient. Price is great. Quiet at night, and darkens well. Good wifi. Plenty of hot water.
The room is spacious and clean, but needs some love. It has new floors and windows, but badly needs patching, painting, new baseboards, new door, and a new medicine shelf over the sink.
Mattress was decent, room well lit - especially with new LED overhead lights. Furniture was beat up.

Everyone was super friendly and nice. Was just looking for a quiet place to lay my head before continuing the last 30 minutes of my drive home. For just a coupkle beds and a shower, this place was perfect. Yes, a tad worn and older, still charming in ways. Mostly, the folks running the place were just super friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The unit was partly refurbished. We liked having no carpet but even though it was clean our barefooted feet got black with dirt. Towels were small and sparse.

Needed to postpone our reservation at the last moment, and Blue Coast allowed me to rebook for a later date. Ended up adding an extra day there. Everything was great, but could really, really use a couple of chairs for those of us who want to take advantage of the microwave and refrigerator in the room. Hard to eat with only a bed to sit on!

My brothers and I stayed at the Blue Coast Inn & Suites for our recent fishing trip. I chose it for the suite and its 3 queen beds which were comfortable. The room was old but our biggest complaint was the lack of hot water. I found if we ran the shower and faucet for 6-10 minutes it would get hot some times. Both mornings one of my brothers gave up after 7-10 minutes and went fir the ice shower. We complained to the nanager and she said it takes 5 or 6 minutes! No water shortage in Brookings Oregon!

The location was good and the owners were friendly. But I will not stay there again because the room was dirty, and very run down. I had to go and request clean towels because the ones we had were filthy and so thin that they looked to be very old. The shower was so small, and the water kept going from freezing cold to scalding without me touching the valve. There was no table or chair in the room to sit at and very thin pillows. The worst was the dog poop on the sidewalk in front of our door and in our parking space that I had to remember so I didn't step in it whenever I'd get out of the car.

Beautiful old motel near the beach. Front desk guy was very friendly and check in was smooth! He gave us great recommendations on beaches to take our dogs to and to watch the sunset. Room was clean and set up nicely!

Dropped towel on wet bathroom floor. Wiped the water up and towel was black. The place lacked outlets next to the bed in the separate bedroom. Only one outlet along kitchen counter with none available for the Keurig on the opposite side (microwave in the other one)

This place looks great in the pictures. Walking in the room, it smells good at first. The beds were nicely made, and were comfy. But it was dirty, the floors had not been mopped in quite some time, there was sand and hair on the bathroom floor, the trash was full, there was a beer can in the trash. My feet were black from walking on the floor. It was quiet, I did feel safe and sound. It was just dirty inside. The price was right..the people in the office were accommodating and pleasant. But I would not stay again.

It is Ok for 1 night's stay. We found strands of brunette hair on the pillows, towels, bathtub, which make me question the cleanliness. It was otherwise clean. The water goes from cold to scorching hot very quickly so be careful, mostly if you have kids.

Since it’s a pet friendly hotel, I asked for my preferred room type (kitchenette) near 2nd row of rooms away from roadway where an elevated grass area was designated for pet use. They did not have kitchenette rooms in 2nd row. All basic needs were in kitchenette room. Towels could use some refreshing in quality along with shower. Room very functional. Pleasant staff!
