The location and the service is good. But the hotel is old and many things were broken

Excellent location to explore the city, close to all amenities and transportation. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.
The only major drawbacks would be the breakfast (a bit basic) and the fact that the temperature in the room was very hot, so much that we had to sleep with the windows open

Excellent location especially coming from the Airport with metro station 2 minutes walk away, room was very comfortable with kettle, fridge, plenty of storage etc. There are differences between what hotels.com advertise and what the terms the property have for payment but thats between between them and hotels.com to sort out. Short walk to monistiraki and plaka where there are shops, cafes and bars

The location was good. Centrally reachable to most destinations. We had a slight problem with the hair dryer,which was quickly attended to by front desk. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

It was just what I hoped for. A comfortable place close to the Acropolis with caring staff. And easy to get to and from by Metro. Thank you for being there.

Hotel was in a great location easy to find. Got a upgraded room which was nice. Good view over the balcony. Sometimes bit loud at night but that is to be expected next to a road.

The hotel has a great location to explore. Close to syntagma square and the metro station. Comfortable accommodations, good and varied breakfast. The staff is AMAZING.

The location is great. It is in a center of the city and have 3 mins walk to get a bus direct to Airport. The service is very friendly and the top roof restaurant is amazing.

The location and breakfast were good, but the room was a dissapointment, it had the view of a white wall. They don't give courtesy water and the carpet didn't look that clean. Also, after using the bathtube all the water came out of the drain.

I don't know if they have renovated rooms but mine was extremely outdated with old, stained carpets. Bed was a little worn down but not HORRIBLE.
Very convenient location to shops and restaurants. Right across a nice park.

This was our second stay at the Amalia Hotel. It is very close to the Plaka, Syntagma Square & the Acropolis & museum. The hotel staff is very friendly & helpful. We loved the vast buffet breakfast. The rooms are somewhat small but very clean. The rooftop dining with Acropolis view is a must!!! I highly recommend this hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amalia Hotel Athens. It was very clean, the room was spacious clean and quiet. The majority of staff were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed dinner in the hotels restaurant on the 7th floor, the view was amazing, both in the daylight and once it got dark. Close to many restaurants, shops and attractions.

Great location with great staff at reception. The room was spotless. The rooftop restaurant for dinner and drinks had amazing views of Athens and the Acropolis. I’m glad we booked this hotel.

The location of the property was perfect for getting around. The only minor complaint was my balcony only had one chair. Hard to share the experience with my wife, and when I requested another chair it never came. We had to use a chair from the room instead. Small inconvenience. Overall I would stay again and would highly recommend the hotel to friends.

We arrived late here in the evening and staff greeted us by name and were very welcoming after our long journey. We were booked in within minutes. Great location to explore and breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

The staff was very helpful with getting us taxis and directions and were able to get us into our room early , since we had flown in early morning. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Central location near all the sites. We walked everywhere. Close to Sintagma Square and a beautiful park acrossed the street. Hadrians Arch and the temple to Zeus nearby.
