The hotel was easy to find and all the staff were very friendly. Check In was quick and easy and all of our questions were answered. The hotel only has one elevator, so if you stay in one of the suites at the far end of the hotel, it is a very far walk from the front desk to your room. While the room was spacious with a fireplace and balcony, it lacked any character. There was no art on the walls or any sort of colour in the room at all. It was all just white. There was no extra bedding in the room and the mattress was very firm. The whole hotel is in need of some upgrades. The pool area is very dated, but the outdoor hottub and cold bath was nice. We did not use the restaurant on site but did grab a drink at the bar which was nice. Overall it was a good stay but not great.

The check in staff we had was Audrey and she was amazing. Very helpful. There was 2 weddings and hockey teams there. Audrey made sure we were away from those guests. The restaurant was booked full and you could not get room service. There was no staff to help with luggage. Food is very expensive. $22.00 per person for a breakfast buffet.And it was nothing special. There was a fridge with freezer in the room but you could not get ice. If you wanted a hard bed this was the place. Hard as a rock. Will not book again.

Beautiful areas surrounding the property. Great for walks, hikes nearby. Some restaurant. Amazing amenities all the stuff for the lake( Canoe, kayak, paddleboard, boats, etc)

Hotel has great potential for families, however, a little too run down for our comfort. We loved having easy access to so many on-sight activities, and the surrounding area is very beautiful. Super close as well to good restaurants and Magog. The only reason we wouldn’t return is because of the mattresses. We all came home aching from an uncomfortable sleep and considered shortening our stay because of that reason only.

Very nice setting with mountain view. Pleasant staff. Very quiet. Excellent choices at breakfast. The property is showing its age and would benefit from a little make-over.
The spa in particular needs attention.

Early on in this property's history, it was probably a higher end resort. It is presently showing it's age. The dinning room is gorgeous at night but during the day it is evident the walls need a fresh coat of paint. The carpet in the halls are worn and stained. The bathroom in our room is out dated with mold in the tile grout. Looks like new vinyl flooring was added to the room.

I was impressed when I drove up to the property. It’s very pretty . The property is big with a golf course that was popular the whole time I was there . The front desk was helpful and check in was fast . When looking around the lobby was nice but ac units and hallways were old and needed updating . Our room was not very nice , it was cold and needed some care .Nothing special to it at all . The grounds were nice. The out door pool was great and my husband and I enjoyed it . Speedy of chairs and umbrellas. Inside spa and pool were dingy and not pleasant to be in at all .
It’s a nice place but unfortunately not one I would run to again or recommend.

There was really nothing we didn't like. Disappointed our room.did not have a balcony. Our room.was in excellent condition as was the lobby. We found.other areas such as the hallway and the recreational areas at the back.were in need of some maintenance and upkeep.

We arrived on a Monday so the bar, restaurant was closed. Our suite had carpet, a few dishes, glasses and one plate. We noticed that they were renovating rooms so hopefully the suites will be also done in the near future. The sofa bed is terrible to sleep on. Hotel should buy new towels, they are not white anymore and rough.

Received a note from the hotel AFTER our no cancellation booking was made informing us that the hotel will not take any complaints from the noise caused by the many hockey leagues staying at the hotel. Furthermore, our rooms might only be available around 6PM. Frankly, I wish I knew this prior to booking.
The check-in process was very long as there were only one poor, overwhelmed young man working at front desk with about 20 guests in waiting.
Although the corridors leading to our room weren't very clean, our room was. We had a large spacious room with a comfy bed overlooking the lake. We tried both the indoor and outdoor pools that were a good size and nicely heated. The soft whirlpool was also a nice treat.

The hotel is like at the end of a road so it is kind of secluded, which is nice. There is plenty of parking available. The hotel itself and the area around it are very good looking. Unfortunately, it was raining very the whole day I was there so I was not able to use the amenities outdoor. Overall, I would come back again should I visit the area in the future.

Nothing like the pictures.
The property is dated, needs major renovation in my opinion, especially jacuzzi area outside .
Mattresses must be 100 years old ;) as neither of us had a good sleep. In addition,
I had two rooms booked, one on the main floor the other on the second, both were really dirty, flies and cockroaches were in the room alive and dead, wasp 🐝 nest on the porch,
Beer bottles were on the porch from previous travellers. The good things are : that they let bring pets and the lake access with kayaks, pedal boats , volleyball.
Would I go back?? NO
I guess you get what you pay for….

The lobby and SPA are really nice; the SPA was excellent. Howeer, the room was less than average. It needs ro be renovated. The bathroom sink was slow, water in the bowl took 10 minutes to drain. The bath/shower was also slow on the drain. There was an annoying noise, could not figure it out other than something like water running.
