Very happy with the friendly check-in by Joy. Also staff around the property was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

Came to Gainesville for a tour of UF. Don’t think I’d stay here again… when we got off the elevator, the area was being used as storage for sofa beds - they were stacked up along a wall. Our room was very humid even with the A/C on. I find that the coffee maker and ice bucket being located IN the bathroom where the toilet is, is rather unsanitary. There was a hair stuck to the wall outside the shower and a used bath towel hanging in our closet.

The hotel is in a ggod location, within walkable distance to stores and restaurants, but it is a old hotel. The carpets were dirty and the hot water did not work at all. I moved rooms to one with cleaner carpets, but the internet connection was poor. Nobody was able to fix this. It seemed this was not their problem.

Our room was quite spacious with 2 king beds. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was also roomy and the shower was especially nice.

The included breakfast was decent, there was hot water and electricity, so it made a fair refuge from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
However, if you're looking for a comfortable or luxurious stay, this isn't the place.
Attempting to sleep on the bed was like laying on plywood covered by a thin layer of memory foam.
The wallpaper in the bathroom was literally stapled to the wall.
The airconditioning in the halls and stairways was inadequate at best, so they smelled damp and musty, as you'd expect in this humid climate.

We were only staying one night. Sylvia checked us in and she was pleasant, engaging and helpful.
The breakfast options were good and the area was clean and well kept.

Building is old. Room had a disinfectant smell. Probably, to mask moldy smell.
No housekeeping. No safe to keep any valuables/ travel docs in the room. Breakfast was pretty basic. Air-conditioner in the room - so you keep hearing the constant hum and start/ stop of the AC.
Pretty expensive for the kind of room and comfort it offered.

Great place! Loved the free cookies and popcorn in the lobby. There’s a shopping complex nearby which is super convenient. And there is quite a bit of parking space.

Even though the first room that I received was in really bad shape, the front desk’s Lady understood and quickly changed the room for us which was way better!!! Breakfast are really good as well as the staff working in this area. We need to stayed one more night and we decided to go there again, we got the same room.

When we arrived with a reservation, I was surprised that not all rooms were cleaned and ready. Remodeling is occurring with work continuing until about 6pm. It was a bit noisy, and we could smell sawdust through the vents in our room. Shortly after we checked in, a large group arrived with slamming doors, running up/down the hallway, loud voices, which, along with the remodeling, did not make for a relaxing evening. Many options for breakfast but few for gluten free. The rooms were clean except the carpet looked worn.

This hotel is perfect. The room was perfect , the breakfast buffet was perfect and had the most options I've ever seen. Everything is perfect from check in to the stay itself. So good I genuinely don't wanna leave.

Actually a really nice hotel. Nice pool and close to the beach by driving. The surrounding area felt safe. The bathroom in our room was recently renovated and was very modern and clean which was a major thing. We actually had two separate room places you could close a door, kind of like a suite. It was very nice because it came with two TVs. Having a balcony was nice too. Breakfast was average, not anything special but not anything poor.
