fabulous hotel.all staff friendly and dressed smart......rooms were really clean and modern..the food was exellent...reasonable prices..the only fault i could give is its location. im ok going up and down a lot of steps.but people with difficulty getting about wouldnt be.but the taxis are really cheap .so that would be the answer.

Really beautiful hotel with magnificent views over the Marina. A Select Seaview room guarantees this wonderful view. The pool is heated and quiet. The breakfast had plenty of choice. The free courtesy room for showering before home is a real bonus. Very clean. The hotel is in a good location but with 160 steps from roadside to room it’s a bit much in the heat . Taxis are a must or a car.

I have to say I was expecting good things coming here but was sadly disappointed. From the reviews it painted a different picture to what it actually was like. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good location and nice enough but not worth the money at all (over priced)! And over rated in my opinion. Just to note why - I booked 3 nights for myself and partner and lasted one night before checking out :( Unfortunately little ants are everywhere which put me off to start with (over the walls, kitchen area and even next to the beds). Then you have a very basic apartment with very thin walls able to hear people staying next to you - this leads to the plumbing system, you can hear when they go to the toilet it’s that loud (in the middle of the night). The shower drains very slow so you end up standing in a pool of water before having to let it drain before continuing with your shower. The service was the only thing I was happy with - very friendly and polite. The breakfast is a good small selection but to a good standard. Overall It wasn’t enough to make me want to stay for my 3 nights so checked out and left - very disappointing.

Perfect hotel. Great views. Staff were v helpful and they even laid on a birthday surprise for my girlfriend. In all this hotel has v good facilities.

Wow, this is my 6th year on the trot in Puerto Rico, but first time in the Marina Bayview. I chose this hotel as it was adults only thought it would be quiet for a relaxing holiday. It didnt disappoint in any way. On arrival I was greeted with a nice glass of bubbly and gold face towels what a lovely touch. The hotel is so clean, pool area is brilliant and I didnt have to worry about saving a sunbed, didnt have to as there were plenty free at any time of day. All of the staff were very friendly and you only had to ask if you needed anything nothing was too much trouble. Amazing view over the Marina and having stayed in several parts of Puerto Rico, this was the best area by far. The hotel serves breakfast for ten euros or 3 days for 27.50 euros. Wow what a breakfast there was absolutely everything you could imagine amazing choice. Spotlessly clean and the staff were always cleaning, immaculate. Each room had 2 pool towels and you could get clean ones everyday this was a great bonus. I could write a book about Marina Bayview, it was just perfect and I would highly recommend staying here by far the best hotel I have stayed in in Puerto Rico. Thanks everyone for making my holiday just perfect.

This hotel was spot on. Perfectly situated with a supermarket around the corner, plus a few restaurants (not too bad), then only a very short walk to Playa de Puerto Rico beach. You are also only a slightly longer walk away from the main bus station and the main market area too.

Awesome place and lovely feel to the whole resort. Amazing food at the pool bar.

Was very nice location, very clean rooms, lovley staff and a great overall stay for the money.

THIS HOTEL WAS LOVELY AND CLEAN. DOES NEED SOME TLC IN THE SHOWER ROOM. ONLY DOWN SIDE TO THIS PROPERTY IS THE 166 STAIRS DOWN TO THE MAIN ROAD. IT GOT EASIER AS THE WEEK WENT ON.

The view’s are great and the location’s far enough away to get peace and quiet but still near enough to go exploring/to the beach etc.

Great hotel, with a very chilled approach, especially as now adults only. We stayed B&B in a room with balcony - breakfast is definitely worth it! Very clean hotel, pool area is great, although not a lot of shade if you dont like the sun too much. Views of the marina, and just watching the world go by, make it a great place to relax. In a less touristic part of Puerto Rico which suited us fine - took only 1 trip to the commercial centre and then stayed locally which had more than enough to do and see! Would definitely go again!

We were looking for a relaxing break in the sun and certainly found it at Marina Bayview. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and the pool area was equally inviting with plenty of sun beds for everyone. The pool bar served snacks and great drinks and the staff were always welcoming and helpful.

Lovely place to stay with great view. Apartments are very cosy and clean. The pool is great and never too busy, there is always sun beds available. Tom the cat visits the pool sometimes he’s very cute

previously stayed at the Marina suites(sister hotel) and we were keen to try the Marina Bayview. The hotel itself is very welcoming and the staff are friendly. We stayed in B block and room 304. The room itself was adequate and a good size for 2 people. On the first day we noticed a sewage like smell from the bathroom within the room and after day 1 the toilet had issues flushing and the shower blocked up. I reported this to reception and Maintenance came an unblocked, no room swap was offered. The sewage smell continued after the fix and within 1 day the shower was blocked up again as well as the toilet. This was quite disgusting and off putting and we had to shower in under 1 minute to avoid the shower over flowing. I reported to management again and yet again this was unblocked but only temporarily. I complained at this point as this affected the enjoyment of our much needed break away. The offer to put this right was a complimentary breakfast which I found ridiculous this equated to 20 euros when we were paying almost 200 euros per night for a room that was not adequate. The hotel itself is clean but would not suit elderly people due to the amount of stairs unless they were prepared to taxi every time the wished to leave the hotel and return. Overall I am.dissapointed and will not be back.cockroach also found upside down in the room on our last day (photo 2)

Lovely hotel. Check-in was easy, and the apartments are nice and clean and very spacious. The restaurant and pool area are nice and relaxing with a great drinks menu. I would recommend having breakfast at the hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly also. Only negatives for me were the stairs to the hotel... so many! And the wifi in the actual room, it never really worked. But could've just been a one off. Wifi worked great by the pool. Overall, great relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Marina Bay View. The hotel was just what we had hoped for. Lovely pool and sun beds. Nice bar area with friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic and meals through the day were good value. Steep climb back to hotel after a night out but if a problem taxis are very cheep from the bay. Will go back to this hotel you will love it

We had a very enjoyable stay.The hotel is very well run,and kept very clean.Everywhere you looked,cleaning staff were busy cleaning.All staff were friendly,and gave you a smile.It was my birthday while we were there,and when i went up to the room,there was a happy birthday card on the table,along with a piece of cake in the fridge.Which was a nice touch.

Friendly, welcoming, fresh and modern - all areas of the apartments are spotlessly clean including the pool and public areas and the apartment. This is a quiet haven in a busy resort - we had a fantastic relaxing time.

Peaceful and spotless hotel away from main Puerto Rico drag but still close enough to all restaurants and the beach. Recommended for a quiet break in the sun.

Very friendly staff, nothing is to much trouble. All areas of hotels are very clean and tidy. Rooms are lovely. Beds are comfortable to.

Great place great pool and very good staff

We travelled in September and everything was great apart from the fact that we got very little skeep due to no air conditioning. That was a MAJOR factor. In addition, it took us 1 hour to find the hotel once we got to Puerto Rico. Even after getting directions from taxi drivers and locals!
