Perfect and quite location.
The water quality of the beautiful pool is one of the best I have ever experienced!
Unbelievable friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our visit a lot!

The bedroom was clean and nice. The architecture is nice. The location is fantastic.
The staff in the cafe were REALLY rude. We sat at a table and they completely ignored us. We sat for twenty minutes. It wasn’t that busy. Multiple waitresses walked passed and didn’t even acknowledge us. Eventually I walked up to the counter to get someone’s attention and they continued to ignore me. I had to stop one mid walk and say please can we get some coffees. They came to the table and when we asked what food they had they acted like it was a massive inconvenience to have to explain it to us. They said go inside and look at the chalk board. So we went inside and looked at the board and then came back out to wait for them to come back and take their order. They didn’t come back. So I walked up again and as I was entering through the doorway a man and his small child were exiting so I stepped back to let them out. A waitress walked up behind me and shouted at me to get out of her way. We eventually got the food, which was very poor quality. They have so little bread considering we were a group, so I had to go ask for more bread at the counter. Then, and I’m not making this up, this actually happened, to get the bread, a waitress who has just been cleaning a table, handling dirty dishes and cleaning cloths and everything, went around the counter, picked up a plastic bag (like a bag you would get in a supermarket) that was full of pre sliced bread and she used her hands without washing them first to put the bread into a bowl and passed it to me. It was disgusting. It’s a pity that the staff are so rude to customers because the hotel itself is a nice hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, the location is lovely surrounded by mountains and greenery yet only 10 minutes from the motorway, easy to find! The staff are very helpful, the rooms are lovely and the facilities are great!

The staff allowed us to park our motorbike safely within the premises. Also the swimming pool was advertised as open, but we were told at first that it was only open during the weekend. With a bit of persuasion (and showing the "pool open" ad on Booking.com) the receptionist let us use the pool.
Beautiful settings but do not open your windows at night or the mosquitoes will invade your room.
Being taken for irresponsible children at first and not being allowed in the pool. We had booked this place mainly for the pool!
With a bit of give and take, the situation was sorted out for the best...and we were not the only one in this situation. Does a pool in Spain have to be supervised by a life guard all the time? That would be a waste of money for this nice hotel and probably a gain of customers if the pool was open at the user's responsibility, like in other countries.

An unexpected gem in a remote location, great for a getaway. Very helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms. An old monastery turned into a hotel certainly holds its spirit. Highly recommended!
Nothing really.

nice comfortable bed and plenty of room. the breakfast was a nice variety of fresh fruit, breads and good coffee 👍
The dinner was fairly expensive and the quality was disappointing.
we would recommend the menu be smaller with only one or two dishes done well rather than many options. The staff were very helpful so that was a positive point.

Wonderful location, stunning views.
Spacious, comfortable room.
Very noisy on both days of our visit. First day was very busy with day trippers on the bar terrace directly below our balcony (overly loud music).
Second day was 30 screaming school children and their vocal leaders. Nice to hear kids playing but not for 6 hours!
Not the peaceful country retreat we'd hoped for.
Also, the bar closed at 9pm on our 1st night. 8pm on our second!

location and scenery was amazing. we are frequent visitors to Cazorla but the Sierra Espuña has it all too. The hotel and gardens are excellent. our room with a balcony was lovely. Continental breakfast was first class. staff very friendly and efficient. Menu del noche, very tasty and good value. Our waiter was helpful and very pleasant.

stunning location and building but still humble and modest in a way befitting it’s history .
Tea/coffee facilities would have been nice and the pool is only open peak season.

Nothing this time. Have been many times before but its beauty is to be able to relax in its surroundings. Arivved ppm Sunday no bar or cafe open for drink this is a 4 star hotel. In morning on Monday went to sit in cafe gardens all shut up and not open. I came 70 miles out of way to bring him here to relax for the day with surroundings hence we rushed off and moved on first thing.
Disgusting service never return here again

The bed was so uncomfortable, the worst bed I've ever slept in at a hotel.
The location is stunning, beautiful building.
Lovely cafeteria on site with friendly staff.

Top location - yet weird organisation .. The bar apparently doesn’t belong to the hotel..( although you walk from the reception straight into that bar..) Result : the rude bartender will sell you drinks but… he won’t give you glasses if you don’t consume the drinks in his bar..( His argument : “ I don’t belong to the hotel .” ) Ok mate yet you do sell to hotel guests so… ?? - Fortunately the kind guy working at the hotel reception was able to provide glasses. Over 500 nights in hotels worldwide since 2015 yet this was an extraordinary first one..

Beautiful place. Peaceful.
Didn't have kettles in the rooms. Breakfast could be more substantial for the price and some items were not being replenish when ran out. Also the Chapel was closed so we couldn't visit it. But Overall it was good.

Excellent location in a stunning beautiful nature resort. We were there in September and had perfect weather in a tranquil environment. Just perfect to forget the world.
Since it was off season, it was not easy to get lunch. The restaurant only caters for breakfast and dinner. But there is also a bar/cafeteria on site which offers breakfast and tapas (when available). You need to drive into the nearby villages to find a restaurant during lunch times.

The hotel was beautiful. Very picturesque. In a beautiful location. The room was very spacious and clean. Perfect for a family of 5. We only stayed 1 night because we were on our way to barcelona but it would be perfect for a very relaxing break away. Staff were helpful and friendly.
