Fantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. The reception area was pristine. We had arrived late in the evening but check in was fast. There is a lift in the building to all the floors. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic with hot and cold food, breakfast was from 7 am to 10 am so no need to rush. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great as it’s in the centre of town but was also very quiet. The bed was very comfortable.
The staff were always on hand if needed and was knowledgeable about restaurants and things to do in the town and the local area. We are already planning our next holiday and will stay in Hotel Bonotto, highly recommend.

Amazing hotel, very clean and in a great location, walking distance to everything. Amazing rooftop with hot tub and lovely views when having breakfast. Manuel the manager was amazing at looking after us whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend

Friendly staff. Parking is at a nearby garage, you pay the hotel and they give you a card that lets you drive in and out of the garage as often as you like.
Good breakfast (much better than most in Europe) on the rooftop. So nice morning view across the lake.
Desenzano de Garda was a pleasant surprise. A very nice town with lots of places to eat, drink, shop or just walk around.

The location is excellent , just a shirt stroll to the centre of town but very quiet.

A wonderful intimate hotel in the center of Desanzano. The hotel is on the main street, but the room has peace and quiet. Rooms clean (cleaned daily) and very spacious. Although we were with 2 children, the size of the room was enough for us. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied. A wonderful lady made us very good coffee every morning. The hotel has an sun roof with sun loungers, from which there is a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding area. The hotel staff is very helpful and helped us solve the problem with the broken car. We loved the stay! I would highly recommend!

I had a lake view and views of the castle but this means overlooking a busy road too. The breakfast room is a lovely rooftop terrace which an incredible view.

An ok place! It’s very clean and tidy, if a little dated. The car park is underground and is an extra €10 per night per car.

Liked the fact it was a few minutes away from the lake.
Good choice for breakfast (pancakes, cereal, croissants, fruit..) like the fact that it was on the top floor as the view was lovely.

Hotel was okay, not sure why all the excellent reviews as it is just an average hotel. The view we had was horrible so I would request a high room. The balcony was one of the worst I have ever seen, full of rust. The hotel is in need of renovation. Breakfast area was nice and breakfast was good, scrambled eggs looked horrendous. We had a problem with the parking, it never worked the hotel said it wasn’t their fault but the garages they need to get these things right for their guests. Apparently there is free parking nearby but we were not told about this . Overall good location, hotel just ok. We stayed in a lot nicer for the same price around Garda.

Very good buffet style breakfast selection with fantastic views over the lake and available until 10am. Two minute walking distance to the promenade and five minute walk to shops and restaurants.Stunning views from the roof terrace across town and up the lake.

Hotel Bonotto is in a great location just a few metres from the lake and very close to the bars and restaurants of Desenzano. Room is good, clean and modern and service great. Breakfast on the roof each morning was nice.

Good location close to restaurants. No car park so paid €10 to park 100m away. Main issue was that air con was inadequate on a very hot night. Not able to get a drink in the bar in the evening, night receptionist disinterested. On a positive note breakfast is included and the view is great.

Not Good valeur for the money. Unpolite staff, really bad breakfast and the hotel doesn’t have the standard that was expected for the price. Overall this is a very touristic town and I would not recommend anyone to go here. Go to Trento instead!

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and speak good English. The hotel has fantastic views of the lake from the breakfast terrace, and is well located for the lake, and only a short walk from the town centre. We were very pleased with almost all aspects of our stay; the only negative one being that our room was a little small for four people.

Good location, easy walk to town and downhill from train station (but recommend a taxi back). The hotel itself is nice, clean and the views from the breakfast terrace make it worth it. Only niggle is that the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours and the air conditioning was very noisy (the heat made it unbearable without it).

The hotel is located very near to the beach and is in the city center. The staff speaks really good English + little bit of German. The cleaning service was excellent and so was the breakfast on the terrace. My family loved the breakfast. Only negative point was the WiFi access. We were located in the corner room on third floor and had major problems connecting to the wifi.

Nice hotel in excellent location! Very close to town and lakeside amenities. Good value, friendly staff and tea facilities in room(not common in Italy). Great variety of hot and cold for breakfast.

Our second stay at this family operated hotel. Stayed 2 weeks in October, 2015. Very please with the hotel, its excellent staff, great location and great breakfast.
The breakfast buffet is great with an amazing view of the lake, surrounding mountains and the city from the 5th floor with unobstructed views due to the sliding glass doors making up the walls.
The owner, Emanuel Bonotto, is on site greeting guests, asking if the room is ok, if there is anything that is needed or if he can provide any tips or suggestions. This spirit permeates down from the owner to all employees which makes for a great experience. The hotel is 1 block away from the lake, about 5 minutes walk away from the city center, about 15 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes away from the bus stop in Desenzanino where you can take the bus to Riva, Limone, Salo etc.
Will definitely stay here again when we return to Lago de Garda.

Good value for the amount we paid the rooms were of adequate, although the size and view from the balcony was a lovely bonus. The hotel staff were excellent with anything to do with the hotel and extremely helpful with knowledge on local transport, restaurants etc. The breakfast, and the breakfast room on the top floor overlooking the lake were exceptional, as were all the staff who made a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Without a doubt we will endeavor to return in the near future to enjoy the hotel and visit the sites we didn't have time for.

Excellent hotel in great location, about 5 minute walk from ferry and 15 minute walk to train station. Only a few minutes into lovely downtown with lots of great dining options. Large breakfast buffet on top floor with lovely ocean views. Great hotel.

Hotel staff were fantastic. Truely 5* service.
Rooms are basic in nature, family(Quad - Bunk and double) , slightly smaller than expected but clean and perfectly satisfactory.
AirCon at the end of season isnt switched on so you may need to compromise between an open window and road noise and cooking a little...
Breakfast is great - good views and simple but great buffet style food.
Reception lounge, bar and piano good too.

More like a 5 star ,wonderful breakfast area on top of the hotel overlooking the Lake and town, very good location. Train station about 20 mins. walk. you can catch local bus near to the hotel. 2 minutes to the lake edge and 5 minutes to the central area of Desenzano. Staff all really friendly and helpful.Rooms clean and well equipped, smartly furnished and decorated. Lovely, modern bar area. Everything just perfect!
