Ideally situated for pre-departure on the Euro-Star. Simple but sufficient. Would use this hotel again and recommend to family and friends.

4th floor, no lift, hot room

You get what you pay. Room was decently clean (no evident dirty places). Extremely crammed with no space around beds greater than a 2/3 foot / 20cm.

The hotel has misleading pictures of the room. We were 3 people and it was size of a prison cell, supert tiny! It is uncomfortable even for one person, imagine three of us stayed in the room. Bathroom is very small. No lifts, we carried all the luggage up 3 victorian stairs. The hotel has no information whatsoever about this. The only saving grace was at least it wasn't dirty, else we would have just left. It was last couple of nights so we didn't bother looking for another hotel and also the booking was non refundable. Hotel.com should remove this hotel from the listing. I am surprised that this listing was allowed despite the fact that it purposefully hid the most basic info and pictures of the hotel and rooms. The only advantage is that it is literally couple of minutes from King's Cross station. But so are many more much better hotels! The most uncomfortable and tiniest room I ever stayed in! Just don't bother.

Very modest single room very poor congested toilet and shower room on stepped floors

I am giving this property a 1-star review because Expedia listed "luggage storage" as an amenity, without mention of any additional charge, but the hotel insisted on a surcharge, and would not back down when I noted the Expedia description. Sometimes Expedia gets thing wrong, and the hotel can ask for a correction, but they should honor the services as listed when the reservation is made.

This hotel is the worst that I have ever stayed in. The sheets were ripped, the blankets were filthy, the stink was horrible, and to top it all off my daughter found a used condom right before we tried to go to bed. We slept in layers of clothing because we didn't want to touch the bedding. We packed up the next day and booked another hotel. Only benefit was it was close to Kings Cross. The hotel was horrible.

Usual movement of people heard around the hotel but, about 5am, a noise sounding like a loud generator started and carried on for about an hour before stopping. Left hotel very tired instead of refreshed. Informed reception in morning, but said he hadn’t heard the noise and didn’t know what it could have been, suggesting maybe it came from the next building.

Near to important place in London

Absolutely disgusting place.

It was all I could find on short notice close to downtown. It was hot without AC. The only ventilation was by opening the window.

The bed had bugs causing a lot of red bites to my legs, arms and neck area.

tight spaces, no lift or elevator and it is very hard if you have luggage with very tight staircase, windows got locks

It was easy to drop off our bags before the check-in time. The staff was nice and we found everything to be clean and enjoyed the tv and the kettle. The only downside was the guests upstairs partied all night and kept us up. I was surprised no other guest complained or that the staff didn’t say something.

Pretty basic but bed was comfortable and it was clean.

Simple hotel, someplace decent to sleep and then spend the rest of your day running the streets exploring. The biggest draw is the location, as it's a short walk from major train hub, King's Cross. In-room safe has a daily fee, and if you want them to hold your luggage after checking out, there's a fee for that as well (never experienced that in all my years of travel). Walls are thin, you can hear your next door neighbor talking, and the people walking around in the room above you. If you keep your expectations in check, and focus on convenience, it's a decent place to stay.
