An ok place 😎

Great place, very unique, beautifully located in a jungle like surroundings. Good service, very nice resturant with good breakfast.

I chose La Aldea on a current trip to see Iguaza Falls. I thought this was an interesting choice due to its niche of being more of a wooded lodge. I was very happy with my choice. The staff was delightful as was the swimming pool. I think a setting like this leads people to be more outgoing and it was so easy to strike up chats with people around the pool. I was also fortunate enough to have found a great taxi driver who, was so very helpful, especially getting to the Brazilian side of the Falls. I can't recommend him enough. His name is Fabioo Villalba and his email is [email protected] If you are in need of a trusted driver I would strongly consider him.

Long day traveling arrived at hotel at 22:00. We were happy restaurant was open until 22:30. Front desk agent said we could eat. Immediately went to restaurant and was told we needed have a reservation? Restaurant was about 20% full. After some discussion and explaining we just arrived and couldn’t have possibly made reservation and that we would order something simple we were permitted to eat.
3 times during stay key needed to be reprogrammed with trips back to the desk each time. Safe would not accept a combination so could not use. We were told and had to sign a paper that we could not bring back any food or beverages from outside the hotel? Never have had this anywhere else. Breakfast was good but for dinner pretty basic and inadequate.
Nice feeling place with a ecological appeal.

Stayed two nights. Room was nice and grounds were very charming, felt like you were truly in the jungle.

An amazing place in the jungle. Parkitecture style. In late June, there were no mosquitoes. The jacuzzi on the balcony was great. The restaurant was great, and the staff was great: they got us taxis to attractions and tickets to the show when we asked. One desk attendant had very limited English, which was a bit inconvenient. NOTE: This hotel is in Argentine, so you cannot get an Uber from Brazil; you have to get a taxi and cross the border. Overall, it was our favorite hotel in a long 17-day trip. The waterfalls are truly a world-quality wonder.

Beatiful location in the jungle with cabanas for rooms integrated into nature. Loved the room and private deck. Lobby and dining room were also very nice with wood interior fitting the area.
Issues: pool was covered with leaf debris, jacuzzi was not working, bar was closed leaving it difficult to even get a soda or any drink, ping pong table is junk (wouldnt matter but they advertised it).

WiFi service is terrible!!

All the staff were very attentive; helpful and sweet. The room was well taking care and specially the beds were clean every day without a request unlike other hotel you have to ask for a clean bed.

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The cabins are beautiful and magical and I didn't want to leave. The pool was gorgeous and clean. The food was delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Beautiful lodge in the middle of the jungle. The cabins are actually surrounded on all sides by jungle. Really nice swimming pool also surrounded by lush jungle. A short drive to the Iguazú Falls.

None of the staff are trained in hospitality Language a huge problem. Unlikely property that requires a serious overhaul. Cold breakfast. Nobody cares whether edible or not! Soiled towels! No drinking water provided. Pay, Pay, Pay! Even though a jungle lodge, basic amenities lacking...

Felt like we were sleeping in the jungle! Wonderful, clean lodging and helpful staff. Highly recommend. Short drive to Iguazu falls, downtown and the Brazilian border.

Very rustic feel, which is nice and different from big hotels. Reception are staff was great and service was nice. The only big downside was food in the local restaurant, service was extremely slow and food was bland and really underwhelming.

Loved this jungle lodge - it was more than I had hoped for and very close to the National Park which made it way more convenient to get to. Will definitely stay here again

This place has a lot of potential. But that is it, potential. They missed house keeping two days in a row with no explanation. You will need dry towels in Iguazu. The room smelled musty. But, the breakfast and morning coffee takes the cake. The quality of all items was terrible. Management did not speak much English at all ,so no resolution to the issues was available. I gave it a two star versus a one star due to the potential.

First of all, the staff there are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a very relaxing place. They made good suggestions (like trying the fresh pasta, or going on a quick catamaran trip when our plans didn't work out, they had our room ready early and when there was a mix up with the airport pick up, they automatically made the effort to compensate and gave us a free return drop-off). The property is well kept, it's an amazing experience to be in the middle of the jungle-refuge, with fresh air, nature and they take care to protect and respect the nature and trees over construction. Finally, I highly recommend eating here. Everything is freshly made. I had a delicious maracuya-mango smoothie, amazing gnocchis a la bolognese, and the flan and maracuya mousse were great. There's a small wine bodega and the cocktail list was extensive, and the prices were all more than acceptable. Highly recommend this place and I want to stay here again.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The cabins nestled in the bungalow were comfortable, private, and extremely charming. The sounds in the evening and the beautiful birds have this place a real jungle feel. The pool was refreshing and you could really relax after a day at the park.
I highly recommend this charming lodge

Beautiful and interesting property. Our room was very large, clean, modern and comfortable. And very interesting and attractively decorated. Bathroom and shower were excellent. Beds were excellent, and linens too. Lobby was attractive, large and comfortable. Breakfast was just okay. Long distances from rooms to lobby and pool through the jungle. The staff was largely unintelligent and less helpful and friendly than elsewhere in Argentina. Taxi rides are required to go to town or to the park. Taxis are easily available and cheap however.

El hotel queda en un area de la selva, sientes tranquilidad. Muy bonito todo.

The idea of the hotel is good. It’s old because the place was never maintained. Breakfast is bad. We never try the dinner. We were given a room with mold smell and the sink and tub shower has hair in it. Request to move to another room which is a little bit better. Broken hair dryer replaced. Take half a day. Would not recommend
