The hotel is close to the bus terminal and very convenient to go to the fall by bus. The room is a little old, but the price is low. It’s worth to stay.

The good: breakfast had plenty of things to choose from, both hot and cold. The bad: noise and an a/c that is either ON full blast or off. At least ON that noise cancelled out the street noise. Wifi went in and out. The ugly: Towels and sheets have a thread count in the single digits. Theyre of the quality for washing and waxing your car, not for cleaning your body. Housekeeping didnt clean the bathroom; just replaced the used soap and towels.

The hotel was nice for the price we had. It very close of the central bus station, which is perfect when you want to visit anything in the city. It's also close to a lot of restaurants, which makes it more interesting than the various hotels closer of the waterfall, which are close to nothing except the waterfalls. The piscine is nice, with a bar within it! The price of the food and drinks are good for a hotel.

Don't stay here! I had no choice because my original hotel had overbooked their rooms. This hotel was old and run down, the room smelled horrible (lack of cleaning) and the bathroom had no water pressure or hot water! Breakfast was decent. But the staff was friendly.

Hotel Foz do Iguacu was extremely run down! Which is a shame because if it were repaired and maintenance were kept up, it would be a treasure! Pictures online do not truthfully depict the condition of the hotel. Their credit card reader was not functioning and our reservation through Expedia was lost. In our room, the bathroom light and fan would not turn on. We tried exchanging the light bulbs with some we knew worked and checked the electrical box to see if the breaker had kicked off. Nothing helped. Maintenance was called but never came. The lights in the main room flickered on and off all night. The phone didn't work. We had reserved 2 nights but moved after one night into a very comfortable, clean, well kept hotel one block away for less than we had to pay at Hotel Foz do Iguacu.
