The bed wasn't the comfiest or cleanest. Parking was awkward as you had to ask at reception to be let in/out. Fine for a night if you are out drinking. Close to everything but the hill to walk up is a killer.

A nice quiet hotel with sea views and 2 minute walk to the pier. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Would happily stay here again.

Dave and Karen very friendly on arrival. Lovely room with a sea view. Bottle of wine provided as it was my wife’s birthday - nice gesture. Overall lovely place to stay with exceptional staff.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Balmoral hotel.
We were welcomed by Dave who couldn’t do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
Our room had been refurbished to a good standard and we had everything we needed.
The central position this hotel is excellent and the car parking was a added bonus.

Hotel is a little basic but very clean and almost too warm! Dave the manager was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Room 30 is lovely with views of the sea and has a huge bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is really close to Bournemouth pier. The car park offers ample spaces. The rest of the hotel is a bit dated and work is underway to bring it up to date.

It is a beautiful hotel very close to the sea and all the main attractions.
Also the owners Margret and Denise along with their front of house Karen were so friendly and professional.
We will definitely be going back!!!

The ladies that run the hotel are lovely and couldn't do enough, our room was one of the older not yet renevated rooms but it was comfortable and clean. In areas such as corridors it is a little run down but don't let that put you off, the location is good and parking great. Breakfast had a good choice and well cooked. We would stay again.

The hotel is nice and bright but does need abit updating. The water pressure for the shower was slow!!! But apart from that the staff were lovely and the hotel is in a great location.

Excellent location, right in the town centre and 4 minutes to the beach. The hotel was a little disappointing. For the price the facilities need a major refurbishment. The shower was poor, bed was far too springy, curtains did not keep out any light, TV was small and room was quite small. No sea view room.

The service on arrival was impeccable! The lady showed us round the public areas and then directly to our room. Very friendly and very welcoming. I wish I could remember her name !

A lovely typical seaside hotel. Wonderful, helpful staff who cannot do enough for you. Decor could do with a little up date but overall a very pleasant stay with my kids.
Location is perfect for the town centre and beach too.

Nice hotel close to every thing we wanted although the room we had is in a desperate need of an overhaul. Shower is either too hot or stone cold. Down stairs looking good but upstairs very tired

Well positioned for the beach and high street. Comfortable rooms with a good range of amenities. Very helpful staff. Would recommend for a well priced, comfortable stay in Bournemouth

Hotel was nice, room very good. A long walk from rear car park to front entrance. Rear entrance for transporting baggage would have been very helpful.

The hotel itself is lovely, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I know that rooms in all other hotels are very similarly priced however I did feel that the price of the room was a little high as the room was “tired” and could do with a makeover. However it was clean and comfortable enough so I don’t really have complaints.

Owners are working on the decor so I’ll say it’s great location with free breakfast, WiFi and parking. My room was on the road side so a bit noisy but bed was comfortable

good hotel, good & friendly staff, close to pier, currently part way through room refurbishment - we were in one of the 'old' rooms but this was still perfectly acceptable

Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Had a dip in the middle - very hard to sleep in it. Toilet tank handle was broken. Sink basin hole was rusted. Room was extremely small. Had to move my luggage around to get around the room. Don't recommend their single rooms at all.
