I booked 2 rooms for one night, one for my wife and I and the other for our friends. The manager was very friendly when we checked in and really went overboard to make sure we were happy with every aspect of our stay. Gave us 2 free drinks for the bar. We did go to the bar and did a little dancing and had a few drinks. The breakfast was good with hot scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The manager greeted us at breakfast and even remembered our names.

Reasonable priced, friendly staff - very accommodating and helpful
I didn't stay long enough to enjoy the pool or exercise room. There is a playground with a basketball court, a small fountain garden and many picnic benches
There is bar restaurant onsite and they do have a decent free breakfast
The room has a microwave and fridge tucked out of sight (the fridge did not have a freezer section)
This is an older facility that is being renovated so as they continue to update/upgrade the rooms the rooms will become visually appealing.
The rooms are clean but items like the faucet & door hardware are outdated.

Was met by the manager and asked if I needed anything and if there were any problems or needs to contact him to ensure things were taken care of. Staff is very friendly. Room was very clean. Pool was great. Definitely will be back.

Wasn't no luxurious hotel, but did provide everything I needed. 15-20 min to Downtown. It was a comfortable stay , and the price was right for what it was.

Mike was amazing! Staff very friendly attends to all my needs and help with questions! Nice hotel with a pool, workout things and the breakfast buffet ‘ would go back to visit. Just a small musty smell in my room

I see roaches on the bar and in my room. Some of them fly. People knocked on my door frequently which was a bother because I was there working nights and interrupted my sleep.

This hotel was perfect for a two night stay, the room was comfortable and clean. The pool is open until 10 and very relaxing breakfast and a bar on site. Close proximity to downtown at least in my opinion 20 maybe 30 min with traffic.

Older property but improvements being made. Our room was an updated one and it was extremely comfortable and clean! The staff and manager are very friendly and helpful. Had an ac problem with the firs room but was quickly moved to another. We will be staying there adain.

The manager was very friendly and helpful as was the staff. There is a bar/restauant at the facility and the food was very good. There is much construction going on outside so it's messy. You have a lot of long-term residents there which may not appeal to some people as many walk around in sleepwear.

This is an old hotel which used to be a holiday inn with a resort feeling. Brewskis is pub for the locals. I stay here when I have business in the area. Sometimes you get your average nut cases and loud mouths but if you are mature you can probably deal.

Always have a wonderful experience at Green Tree. Staff is wonderful, the security is awesome, and i gotta give a shout out to Mike who runs the place. Always making sure that we have the best stay possible. And their complementary breakfasts is awesome. Only hotel ill ever stay at if im in the area. See you soon Mike.

Good value find. Mike the manager was super friendly and would check in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed and were satisfied with our stay. Staff is also super friendly. Breakfast was tasty, fresh, and had lots of veggie friendly options. There is a bar on premises which is open till 2 am. Downtown Houston is 20-30 mins drive. Parking is free at this hotel with security monitoring/securing the premises after midnight. Rooms were clean and spacious. The pool wasnt open but it was because it was rainy and a bit chilly. The pool area is very pretty with a lot of grass and surrounded by palm trees which I would imagine would be very enjoyable in the summer! This place is a good value for the money and would highly recommend for the skeptical!
