Dinner at Grill was mediocre room nice but hardly any towels Room clean Good for the price!

A little disappointed. First off, when reservation was made through Hotels.com it said that fees and taxes were included. Well, got saddled for a “resort fee” that was actually more than the price I paid for the room, plus a $150 security deposit. I was there for 2 nights and actually had to search out someone to get a drink while I was in the casino. The room was clean and quiet though.

My stay at Grand Z was all positive. Mary Kay at check-in was quick and thorough. The room felt new and was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had plenty of strong hot water. The Grill restaurant served delicious comfort food in generous portions at great prices. The casino was clean. The surrounding area felt safe and is walkable. I would stay here again.

Great pet friendly hotel! Fantastic amenities, good deals for players card holders. Parabath was very friendly and helpful at the front desk, we will definitely be back.

Was nice overall, but needs a little bit of improvement, armchair really old, bathtub drain slowly, and bathroom light was flashing (dying) I showered in the dark before I left . (No time for repairs) but nice and clean 4 the price.

Nice room - overall, very comfortable. They didn’t give me the free breakfast they promised when I arrived, so there’s inconsistency or intentional misleading happening.

We didn’t have a hairdryer in our room and they charged extra for a missing hair dryer. Terrible and the container service was horrible

Our room was so comfortable, clean and spacious, we like it so well we stayed an extra night. The bed and pillows just hugged you. Loved this place.

Comfortable room, nice bed, good bathroom, no issues. Nice and Quiet.

Nice and clean and safe. Although we didn't bring our dog, I like that they had a Dog Park in the hotel for those who did bring their dogs. The only issue we had was when we went to The Grill for breakfast, there was only one person working who was seating the customers and taking their orders. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes (we were the only ones in line), we went elsewhere for breakfast.

We were so excited when we booked this stay in a new quaint town in the Colorado mountains. We checked in to a sarcastically rude lady, but tried to overlook. To our room we went and were impressed at first. That didn’t last long. Walked in town to see the shops which were either empty, closed or the people were so rude we quickly left. Went to The Grill for supper. Horrible service and food. It was absolutely awful!!! To the room without any towels, tub was clogged and no hot water. We asked for help. They sent up maintenance which did nothing. We told a guy in the morning of continued situation, but nothing done to make things right. Would not recommend

We stayed here overnight on the way to denver to check out Central City. The price was right. The parking and check in were a little hard to figure out, because there are signs everywhere saying nobody under 21 allowed, but I had my daughter with me. Upon checkin, i learned that I had to sign for her. Room was clean and quiet. Coffee accessible 24/7. Easy walking to dinner and shopping.

Very nice room and good total price, though the "resort fee" was nearly as much as the room. Casino had a good selection of slots, no table games on weekdays. Hotel/Casino staff were friendly, but they were borderline under staffed (though sufficient as long as there isn't "a rush"). Food was good, but they got backed up/were definitely under staffed at dinner. We walked a couple hundred yards up to Dostal Alley Casino & Brewpub for dinner (pizza) and it was exceptional. Dostal Alley has very limited seating (and it's mostly outdoors) so getting a seat may be difficult at times, but that wasn't an issue at all on a pleasant summer Tuesday evening.

We got there and power was out from a storm. Elevators were not working. The place was empty. Yet they put us on the top floor ..4th floor all the way at the end. Not a very nice thing to do to elderly people.

The room had No AC

They did not even give coffee machine in the room and the room service was only if requested. We didn’t know that and we’re waiting for them to come clean.

Everything its good just need more attention in the casino área

We enjoyed our one-night stay. The room was much nicer than I expected based on some reviews I read. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, nice new towels, and good tv. The parking garage was convenient, but the route to the hotel via a separate elevator was circuitous and poorly marked. Signage throughout the hotel and casino could be improved. The beverage station in the casino was a plus. Overall, a good place to stay.

This hotel charges a $150 refundable fee at check-in - when I asked about it, the front desk clerk admitted that people have trashed rooms in the past. I'm not sure why anyone would want to trash the room we stayed in. Carpets were dirty, the woodwork/trim was worn/frayed, swivel desk chair was broken, caulking around the tub needed redone, bathroom plastic baseboards were coming lose, and armchair was so frayed that we took a photo to prove to the front desk that WE hadn't damaged it! The only redeeming quality of the room was that the bed was comfortable. This room was way overpriced! We ate at one of the hotel restaurants - it was also very subpar - how do you mess up a BLT??

The room's thermostat didn't work. There was only one mirror in the room. It was above the bathroom sink and so high up that I could only see the top of my head in it. There was only a door separating my room from the next, and it was so thin that I could hear every sound next door and it kept me awake.

We enjoyed ourselves. The free noodle bowl for new members at the Dragon Tiger is very nutritious and quite filling. Even at it's regular cost, it was one of the best bargains offered. Also, the free spin for cash was exciting even if we didn't win much. As to the hotel itself, it's a small casino in the Rockies, so no one should expect grand luxury. That said, we were disappointed to be given a room next to the elevators. It was a Monday night and sparse of guests. I don't know if we were assigned this room because I booked via Expedia. Fortunately, after 7 days of hard traveling, the elevator noises couldn't penetrate our need for sleep. Thought about requesting a room change, but we didn't want to waste administrative time for playtime. The casino personnel were quite friendly -- undoubtedly helped by the fact that we were nearly the only one there on a Tuesday morning before check out.
