Modern nice hotel within the center. Breakfast was Ok, with everything you need. Nice to have a one-hour access to the spa.

The hotel is well located near plenty of dinning, shopping areas. Rooms were large. Compared with your typical European hotels.

Nicely centrally located - close to the train station and in walking distance from city center. Reception staff not the most friendly, also the breakfast staff looked terribly overworked (seemed like they were understaffed). Rooms decent and functional, no way to regulate temperature in room so taking points off for that - if you are cold no extra blanket to be found. Little fridge and coffee maker, which is good. Spa is decent, the pool and jacuzzi - CAREFUL they make a bath hat mandatory which noone tells you prior to arrival so you are forced to buy a 3 Euro super ugly overprices bath hat. AND you can only use the spa for 1h per day and have to book in advance at reception. So not sure it really is worth the extra money for a hour of hot water. Breakfast was soso...the coffee maker/machine is good, the rest looked a little like minimalistic effort. But it works, if the staff was not so clearly stressed out. USB charger was broken in my room. All in all it felt like overpriced for what it was and not to what I am used to for Novotel standards.

Parking should be free for customers! Our kids loved this hotel, pool and hamman was lovely, room amazing but very hot!!! Even with air con. Coffee making facilities in room needs decaff option and real cups. Check in and out was easy and very friendly staff, nice breakfast too! Close to great restaurants!!! Easy to walk to old town.

My stay was great. Hotel was close to train station and lots of nice restaurants near by. The staff at the hotel were helpful and pleasant.

We had a good stay. My children played pool in the hotel during our stay. Restaurant was also good.

Conveniently located near the train station, a mere 5-7 minute walk. Nice, simple hotel, clean and comfortable. Nothing special but comfortable and pleasant.

Lovely hotel generally and a great selection for breakfast. Would have been nice to have used the spa, however this was a business trip so there was no time. Excellent location close to the train station. My only complaint was that the bedding had been put on inside out, so I had to re-do it and the washing powder used made the bedding feel very cheap and starchy.

The restaurant was closed on Sunday evening, very poor for a hotel.

Convenient location near train station, nice little pool, decent breakfast buffet and friendly, helpful receptionist. It was really hot while we were in Rennes, so the air con was also very welcome. This hotel worked really well for a one-night stay before catching the train the next morning.

Not the best, room okay, noisy street outside at night. air con quite noisy. Shower wet the whole floor as the door didn’t close tight and there was no mat. Breakfast okay, not everything was topped up on the buffet. Spa was good but no one around to ask about a drink etc.

Not a 4 star hotel. Restaurant next door and staff very pleasant. Reception staff very poor and unhelpful.Wpuldnt stay here again - terrible value for money.

After à long day of excursions the room felt so right just like coming home ! Very confortable, nice decor, huge bathroom I could not have asked for better. Since I had to leave before the restaurant opened its doors at 6:30 AM every morning to go on my excursions I never had à chance to try their breakfast.

Only stayed one night.Access through Rennes is difficult - not the fault of the hotel but a fact nonetheless.Food was good but seemed expensive even by Novotel standards.If I had to stay in Rennes again, would happily stay at the Novotel but in all honesty, for our purposes, would probably stay outside of Rennes if possible.

Comfortable hotel. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Fabulous breakfast. So much choice, its quite overwhelming! Room came with coffee/tea making facilities. Nice walk-in shower room and comfortable bed.
