An adorable inn with the charm of an inn and the space of a hotel. I cannot say enough great things about this gem. They greeted me upon late arrival with cookies for me and a dog bone for my dog. All the perks - gathering room, breakfast, patio - were thoroughly explained even at the late hour. The room was impeccably clean and they provided water and mints. I was easily able to adjust the temperature and the beds were very comfortable with more than enough pillows. It's close to a lot of adorable shops and restaurants. I didn't try the breakfast due to schedules, but I'm sure it was delightful. An odd anecdote but something to note - I never take pens from hotels since they're usually rather cheap. I actually took this pen because it wrote so well, had a decent weight and I needed one for work :) A marker of good customer service! If i ever find myself in this area again, I'll be sure to stay and recommend it to others!

Very nice staff. Photos online make the inn seem higher end. In reality, furniture is nicked; you can hear your neighbor’s water every time it’s turned in; hallway carpeting not vacuumed for days. Pretty nice breakfast though. And, as said, nice staff.

Beautiful rooms and inn but zero food and beverage apart from breakfast buffet. You cannot get a glass of wine or Diet Coke or a meal. You have to goto an off site restaurant.

Friendliness galore! We arrived quite late into the night and greeted with the warmth and enthusiasm of the morning. Lovely location with a quaint historical feel. Lovely.

Exceptional.
Can’t say enough wonderful things about this Inn. They had both the fire pit and fire place lit at night offering a very inviting calming area. They had activities outside and an amazing view. Inside was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Staff was accommodating and breakfast was wonderful. There were no added or hidden costs, they offered quality options for drinks and snacks.

I thought the property was dated. I talented marketing person could turn it into a winner. As of now it just seems tired. The coffee was not good but the breakfast was very good.

The staff are very nice. The common areas of the hotel are generally in good condition. The room itself is fine, however, for the price, it's time to touch up the furniture, elevator cab and some of the common areas where wear and tear are beginning to show. For the price, things should be pristine.

After years in the hospitality business, I am not easily impressed. This property is well managed, well styled and very easy to navigate no matter what your challenges may be. The room was bright. The bathroom was freshly renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The property was not very full as we chose the weekend AFTER New Years. We were impressed by the excellent cooked to order omelettes and the range of pastries. We will definitely be returning soon!

The property inside and out is beautiful. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay but the food choices and quality of food can be greatly improved. The Inn is too special not to have the breakfast at the same level of excellence.

For the price, I don’t strongly recommend this property. Litchfield has limited options, but without a bar, not much in the evenings, this is not much of a hotel for the luxury price

We had an excellent time in Litchfield. What made it even better was our stay at the Litchfield Inn. We has a very comfortable room and the breakfast the next day was phenomenal! The staff at the Inn were all very friendly and we brought our doggie Lily too!🤗

A pretty, fancy yet low-key hotel experience. Not overly fussy. Breakfast was fun. Not a good location to walk to things, but an otherwise convenient location to Litchfield and environs. Will definitely return. Good value for the money. Nice rooms.
