This Hotel is completly falling apart and out dated, upon entering our room there was water all over the floor in the bedroom coming from leaking windows. The ceiling fan in the living room had a missing blade, and once you turned it on the base of the ceiling fan was so loose I feared for my life. There was poop still in the toilet along with the trash can filled with poop filled toilet paper which stunk the whole apartment up. Not to mention, the toilet it self was broke and the sound of running water all evening. Being that this hotel is right off the highway the noise was beyond loud, with cars zooming and people fighting in the courtyard. The furniture is stained and dirty. This Hotel is on of the worst in Boca Chica.

The place was very derty and the room smell so bad the refrigerator was stinking like crazy the walls need to be painted the bathroom is in need of upgrading the beds was very uncomfortable its like sleeping on springs its really bad I would never in a life time book that place are even recommend that place to my enemy there is holes in the bath room with exposed pips the furniture are broken the room doors don't close that's place is like a dump

The property looks good in pictures but it’s actually a 1 star. Very rough around the edges. Too much money for that kind of room.
There was no wash cloth available. Asked and was told they don’t have them.
One elevator was NOT working.
There’s a club on the top floor which means there will be heavy traffic in the elevators and ground floor from night til morning.

The place is in dire need of structural updates. Paint coming off the walls. Evidence of mold on walls. Hot water did not work at all. Stayed 4 days and no efforts made by staff to provide fresh towels and replenish paper products. TV did not work. Remote control had no batteries. Bedroom door handle falling off. Definitely not a place where we will stay again. There were more staff than guests. We had to manually open and close the driveway gate in order to exit or enter parking area. Staff never offered to help.

I was a bit skeptical at first but the staff and everyone there made me feel welcome and comfortable. They’re going thru some renovations and there were minor maintenance issues but those were resolved quickly. I can’t say enough about how management and staff were extremely helpful even though there was a little language barrier. It was relaxing and fun too and even some other guests joined in on our pool side parties. I’m definitely going back soon. If you don’t expect a five star hotel, you’ll have a great stay here. If you want a safe, clean, comfortable place that treats you like family, this is for you.

it is not a hotel; it is a unkept house and you get barely furnished room in it.
Bed sheet and Towel are white but visibly brownish, you will feel filthy by just sleeping on it.
It was cheap, and if would not be late night arrival then we would have let go money and find better place.

Villa Capri is a one star resort that earns 5 stars. Very basic, but clean and safe and competent friendly staff. We have stayed there several times and will stay again.

the room i was smell like mud, the sink bathroom only open the hot water the other side doesn't work, from the ceiling was dripping water to a table where all my things got wet, next day in the morning was a flod of water in the floor, where just my luggages got wet, TV didnt turn on, anywaysss dont stay at the first floor,

There's not much more than a roof at top and a bed with clean sheets. Well, air condition they had for our surprise..
If you are looking for a place which doesn't smell bad, or there's warm water in a shower, this is not your place.
I would think twice if you want to stay at boca chica at all.. we found it quite irritating place with aggressive salespeople and bad beach.

No hot water. Plaster crumbling and ac unit leaking. Ac unit in first room didnt work. Was given another room and ac unit worked better but was only in bedroom. Kitchenette had no ac and was very uncomfortable. Bed and sheets were clean.

First of all on expedia they said they provide breakfast which isn't true. There is no phone in the room, one spanish channel on the tv, the bed was dirty, not even a bottle of water was provided. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

This was out 2nd time staying at Villa Capri. The 1st time, we brought our kids, they loved the pool and the short walk to the beach. We are very familiar with DR and felt comfortable in the neighborhood which was a mixture of locals and tourists. There were several Colmados (corner stores) close to the hotel and a shirt 5 min walk brought you to the Ole' supermarkets for us to purchase foods to cook in the apartment style hotel room's full kitchen. On our 1st stay, the kids loved the small pool available on the property. This visit, we did not use the pool and rather, we chose to take walks to the beach! We would gladly stay again as the staff are personable and were very attentive to any requests we made.

Not the worst stay, I was there just to sleep, but I wouldnt stay for anything else. Room smelled musty, AC was very weak. Balcony was the most attractive amenity, however the area itself wasnt the best.
