Close to the restaurants in Hirafu. Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked the premium room stated that bathtub was included but the hotel didn’t have such a room, therefore after clarifying with their management, they decided to upgrade the room free of charge. This is exactly what customers look for in terms of ‘service’. Prompt and decisive customer help.

It is an apartment instead of a hotel. No services is provided and no staff stations in the front desk on regular basis. The staff can be reached via telephone hotline and she is helpful. The room is clean and comfortable overall. Convenient store and restaurants are in few minutes walking distance. Free parking is provided.

Great locaton for exploring Niseko/Hirafu area.

This was my second visit to Akazora. On my own this time, 12 nights. I had a street front studio that met all my needs, comfortable bed, functional kitchenette, wall mounted flat screen TV that swivelled to all parts of the room, cable has an adequate range of English language channels. Akazora has particularly nice bathrooms and a small laundry off that room in its own alcove. I ate in a lot and the kitchenette worked out well. Akazora is extremely convenient to the town of Hirafura with it's restaurants and bars, there's a shuttle stop right at the door and shuttles run about every 20 minutes to either Hirafura or Hanazono mountain base. There's also an undercover carpark if you have a car and the ski lockup is next door to the carpark. The staff are all lovely people, Nikki on reception was really friendly and helpful and gave a lift to the bus station on the last day. I really enjoyed my stay. Great location spacious rooms. Free parking.

I visited it in Summer time to join zip lines and horse riding. The hotel locates near Niseko if you're driving a car. It was about 10mins driving. There is a convenient store and some restaurants around but please don't expect for a shopping center in the region. The hotel locates near a lot of small houses so I found it difficult to look for it even with our driving GPS. It was a peaceful and quite neighborhood though. The room is very self contained. It provides all family facilities, such as washing machine, cooking electrical stove, a rice cooker, microwave oven, discs washing machine and TV. However, it is missing air conditioner. Instead, they provide a small cool wind fan. It will need to fill up water to blow some cool wind. However, it is far from an air conditioner. Eventually, we open the windows at night to enjoy natural wind. Overall, I love the room. It was stylish and comfort. The balcony was big and I can watch star at night. I did enjoy the stay here.
