This is a really nice hotel situated a 5 minute downhill walk from the train station and about ten minute slow walk from the centre of town.
Staff were friendly, bedroom and all public areas were immaculately presented and its well situated for a twenty minute walk to the Feldschollsen brewery where you can go on a brewery tour.
I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends travelling through Basel as it is an easy 18minute train drive.

Nice hotel close to Rheinfelden train station. Easy into Basel.

Lovely hotel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Food was very good with lots of choice on the breakfast menu.
The bathroom was the only negative due to the lack of effective plugs in the sink and a shower which was downright dangerous. No consistency of temperature, went from cold to scalding hot without warning. Reported, but not remedied.

Excellent and friendly staff service. Restaurant food was average and it too over 30 minutes for the main course to be served. Hotel and town decorated nicely for the holiday season. Convenient to train station, Rhine e and walking through the old tiwn.

The hotel had no record of my booking, despite me having paid in full and having a booking reference. The hotel was fully booked so I could not stay there. Hotels.com does not work. Expedia much more reliable.
To be fair to the hotel staff they did rally round and find me another hotel.

Unfortunately we arrived late due to an earlier business meeting.Reception staff were very welcoming, hotel was adequately equipped, functional and fit for purpose. Strangely, there was no access to irons - any ironing had to be done by reception from 8am, which wasn't great. Thankfully, the shower in the very compact bathroom was very good and doubled as a steam room to press my shirt!

Staff were very obliging. We had trouble getting a car park as their restaurant was busy due to it being Mother's Day. The staff went out of its way to secure a spot for us with a male staff member moving a staff car so we could use the car park.

I went here with my girlfriend and we both thought it was great. We had a view of the Rhine river, the bedroom was small, but had everything you needed. Out balcony looked over a playground with the Rhine in the background. It was beautiful and comfortable!!!

The staff members were friendly and helpful during my stay, offering a map of the area and pointing out where the sister hotels were situated (guests could use their facilities). The room was really comfortable with crisp linen and a fluffy duvet. The onlye negative was that there was a wooden floor in the corridor outside my room so I could hear people walking past. However, lovely room and I would happily stay again.
