Everything great ! Friendly staff

Without doubt, one of the cleaner and nicer rooms we have stayed in and quite some time. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, and we absolutely loved the coffee maker and water unit in the elevator area of each floor. Being able to get my own oat milk and espresso in the morning, and seltzer water at night was the amenity I didn't know I needed.

Hotel itself is beautiful, parking is easy, nice bar onsite.
The only slight downside of the hotel would be the size of the room and cleanliness of the shower tiles. Note- a great feature / space utilization was a split bathroom set-up; separate water closet and small sink from the shower with larger sink, which was great traveling with my husband.
Through no fault of the hotel, the city and surrounding hotel area had a large population of panhandlers and homeless sleeping on the streets. In my 24 hour stay in the city there were 4 occasions of multiple police descending on businesses where the panhandlers had caused issues / theft with tourist or there were mental disturbances with shop owners. Walking from the hotel to the downtown area for dinner after dark, which was through a major construction area and very dark had my guard up after seeing this.

Parking was a breeze, really appreciated the onsite garage. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and the shower products are amazing!

Hotel Vermont is quaint, beautifully and thoughtfully designed with local goods and art. The room is comfortable and so quiet. Just a few minutes to the waterfront or to the main shopping district in charming Burlington!

Really liked the location. So easy to walk to Church Street and the Waterfront. Loved the availability of complimentary bicycles. The hotel was beautiful and the Coffee/Water stations on each floor were a great perk. Can’t think of anything that would have made it a better stay.

At checkin I asked for a feather free bed. They said sure but didn’t do it. Later, at bedtime, I asked again and they had us pack up and change rooms. Kind of a pain. Also the restaurant has a limited menu.

Lovely hotel, I stayed there because of location and the fact they advertised bicycles for use, not any mention of a fee for the bicycle anywhere.
When I received my credit card statement there was a $50 fee for the bike. Not one person mentioned a fee, the waiver did not mention the fee. For $500/ night I did not appreciate this passive/aggressive policy.
That was my only complaint.

Incredibly personal, thoughtful amenities including delicious coffee and tea available on every floor and a yoga room, along with artisanal Vermont touches everywhere. I would love to stay in a Hotel Vermont in any state! Great choice for Burlington and a reason to go back!

Really liked this hotel. Our only complaint was the music from the patio/bar area was very loud early in the evening. If you have small kids or go to bed early you may want to ask for a room away from that side.

Great room, toiletries amenities... our room overlook a senior home with 10 trash cans and a blue dumpster in the parking lot ... not the best view and I know it's not the hotels fault but couldn't this building hide the trash cans so they're not in direct view? Just food for thought .

The only negative I have is that the elevator was out of order from the parking garage, and had to carry my heavy bag down three flights.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Hotel Vermont. It was only a few steps away from the waterfront and a couple of blocks away from Church Street Market place. The parking lot is right next to the hotel ans $16 a night. The hotel doesn't have coffee or tea in the rooms, but rather a coffee and tea bar by the elevators on each floor, which I thought was so much better. The coffee was delicious. The rooms were nice ans clean with good window access. We had a nice view of the water from the bed. The shower and toilet were separate which worked out well for my partner and I. There was a small selection of books in the room and a retro looking radio, which we enjoyed. The front desk staff were very lovely and though we didn't utilize it, the lobby lounge was very cozy looking. Overall, a really great stay.
