This hotel is fine not outstanding. The pool area is amazing and the grounds are beautiful hiwever the rooms need updating. Very small bathroom with virtually zero counter space. Fridge in our King bedroom was very old. I would stay here again even without renovations so its an ok hotel but know that you are not staying at an overall nice place. Its a 3 star at best.

Pool was absolutely beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious. My only wish is they would bring back the poolside bar they used to have!

We usually book here once a yr , bathroom shower was not clean . There was only one girl at front desk so no other person available. Therefore had to move rooms . Otherwise staff is very accommodating

We stayed with our kids at the Hilltop Inn for two nights in 2024. The pool was fantastic and the whole family had a great time. There's a pedestrian tunnel to walk under the highway just outside the hotel, and Salmon Arm was surprisingly walkable if you want to head into town for dinner or drinks. We had two issues: the cot we had arranged in advance was not setup until 10pm, after multiple requests; and our toilet broke down and we had to use the toilet of the adjacent room (which had a connecting door to our room). But otherwise a great stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hilltop Inn and the included breakfast!! We loved our quiet room and that the property is completely free of all kinds of smoking! The outdoor pool is outstanding and perfect for cooling down or having some R&R! We look forward to returning!

The rooms are only cleaned if you put a tag on your door. We did, but the rooms were not cleaned. We had to bring it to their attention and ask the receptionist to ensure that it happens the next day. The toilet got plugged. The receptionist brought me a plunger and asked to return it to her when I am done. The hot tub was not working due to lack of maintenance personnel onsite. The breakfast was good.

Hotel was a little run down in the older building.

The hot tub was cloudy and a gross green colour. Having to sign out towels meant that other guests switched out our dry towels with their wet ones. The room was excellent and the staff was friendly

Our room was upgraded to a double king walkout to the pool. It was wonderful to hear the water sprays, so relaxing. The pool was a good experience and enjoyable. Breakfast was very good and made right at the hotel.

I recently stayed at The Hilltop Inn and found the experience largely disappointing. While the check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the pool was decent, the hot tub was in poor condition and clearly needed a thorough cleaning. The bathroom was also problematic; the shower curtains had brownish-red stains, and the faucet was broken, which detracted significantly from our comfort. The major issue, however, was the hotel’s handling of noise complaints. Despite the hotel’s claim of being family-friendly, it seemed to cater excessively to certain guests. We had barely settled into our room when the guests below us began calling and hanging up on our room. This was followed by staff coming to our room to complain about noise, even though we had just arrived and had not made any significant disturbances. The situation escalated throughout the night, with the staff dismissing our concerns and suggesting we were at fault, even though we had left for the evening for supper and were back in our room for less than 10 minutes before the staff came and said the guest below us couldn’t handle the noise throughout the entire evening. The incessant noise complaints and lack of support from the staff overshadowed any positives about our stay. Overall, the experience was frustrating and ruined our visit. The hotel’s management and handling of noise complaints need significant improvement, and the condition of the bathroom facilities requires immediate attention.

The property is gorgeous. Most of the staff are great. There was one staff member that was shockingly detached. But overall great. The only downfall was the entire hotel had to share one ice machine that worked poorly at best. Its been years that they have known this

Our family loved the outdoor pool! Rooms were a good size and beds were comfy.

Everything was pleasant enough. But room was very “tired”. Maybe because it was a family suite, did not see individual rooms. I was told the included breakfast was Continental so I was happy to see hot dishes potatoes and sausages and hard boiled eggs offered. The gentleman in the cafe was very hospitable.

Great place !

The property is convenient, right off main highway. Rooms are spacious and even bathroom is large. The best thing about hotel is beautiful, resort like pool area. Outdoor amenity, pool area is great to hang out with family. Off the pool deck, they even have a table sitting area where you can bring food to eat if you are hanging poolside for the day. The only minor comments are the room was clean and in fairly good shape, but is becoming a bit dated and some baseboards, carpet, etc., are in need of replacement. The tub/shower in our room barely drained. With a little TLC, this hotel would be great. The breakfast was also pretty basic and pretty much the same each day but okay if you are not a big breakfast person. The pool will bring us back! We would stay again.
