It is super cute from the outside, but the room was postage stamp size with absolutely NO FRILLS. The queen bed is more like a full-size bed. There is no room for more than 2 people in the room itself and even that, you are literally tripping over each other. The patio was as large as the room. The patio view is eye level with the fence, rather than looking at the lighthouse. Go up one floor for a much better view. No hair dryer but they painted around and left the hair dryer holder on the wall, no pictures on the walls (or even painted mural to make it cute) but plenty of screw holes to be seen. Loud refrigerator that you had to walk around at night as there was no real walking space in the room. No screen door for the patio for a breeze without bugs. No full-length mirror so not a good place to get ready for a wedding. It is a drop your bags and go kind of place rather than stay and enjoy. Warning signs everywhere on what not to do or they will charge you extra. Not that we would do any of those things but came across unfriendly and cheap. Been wanting to stay here for years and was really disappointed overall.

Our room was clean and not cramped. We had a partial view of the lake, but the only negative was the balcony deck needs to be refinished. Close to the water and staff was very pleasant. This is our go to spot when we stay in Ludington from now on. Also, two blocks from downtown area. Highly recommend staying here.

So close to the beach. Perfect spot! The rooms and bathroom are small. Pool and hot tub are nice.

Wonderful place, beautiful view from balcony, comfy bed.

Great location to downtown Ludington. There’s tons of shopping and a farmers market on Fridays. The hotel sits right by Lake Michigan with an amazing view. Definitely loved this small town and people are friendly

Great location and views, helpful staff.

The room and the service were fine. The problem with this place is the lack of parking. Limited parking spots to begin with and then people that don't want to pay to park at the piers take the other spots. I had to park a 1/2 mile away.

We booked last minute to be close to family in Ludington for a short vacation. The hotel location was perfect. The manager was friendly and helpful. Our room was on ground level of the parking lot side, not the side with a balcony or lake view, but it was clean and adequate for our needs, mostly to sleep there. The pool and hot tub looked very inviting but we didn't get the chance to use it. We would stay again but try to get a balcony /lake front room next time.

Our trip was wonderful, the room could have been better. For the price of these rooms I would expect a MUCH better bathroom. The shower was small which was fine, however the shower head was so high only a person above 6’ tall could have a proper shower. And only a person under 5’ could sit on the toilet properly.

Front desk person not customer service driven. Complained about a mess around the entry door and it still was a mess in the morning. Room is small and bath room is tiny.Shower is 3x3 and no space to put anything. Not a place to come back to!

Was excited for this trip but it started out with the front desk staff denying me the veterans discount. He stated I had to book that ahead of time when Hotels.com never had an option to put in there I was a veteran. I asked if I could show my ID and he still denied me saying I needed to call before hand.
Secondly, the doors close very hard in most the rooms so it sounds like people are slamming doors all day.

We booked through Hotels.com which sucks. The Wifi sucked we couldn't get into our computer so we had to cancel and drive home. We are business owners and need internet for a hot project.

Tiny rooms, no comfortable chairs to sit in

Some things about this room were fairly updated, but others look like from the 60’s. The bathtub badly needs help (see photo) and stairs. Everyone including this hotel directs tourists to the House of Flavors, which was very disappointing. Our room was as the receptionist said, Around in back, past the dumpsters.” Not a good experience for $260 a night.

Great place to stay. The balcony is beautiful and spacious; overlooking to the beautiful Lake Michigan. A public beach next door; clean, beautiful. The location is perfect to get around easily. We would stay here again.

The location is excellent. Lake Michigan is right across the street with a large beautiful swimming beach, Pier to lighthouse, fishing piers, and great views of the Badger entering and leaving the Ludington Port. Ludington State park is about five miles north and has nearly everything you would want including the Big Sable Point Lighthouse. The room and bathroom were very small and tight and larger people would find it challenging. It was an older room, pretty clean, but only one small table and two small chairs. It did have a nice ref, and microwave. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked very well. The room and craftsmanship could use some professional updating and finishing touches. We have stayed here for over 20 years and this room did not represent the rooms from past visits. However, the location is as perfect as you could ask for if the beach and Lake Michigan are what your looking for.

Room was clean but small. Bathroom was small and shower way too small. Not wprth what we paid for it.

Short safe walk to beautiful Stearns park. Great beach. And miniature golf close by. Just a few blocks walk to many restaurants.

Grew up visiting family in Ludington every year, and always walked by and wondered how it would be to stay here. Lovely time for me and my wife over the Fourth of July holiday. Incredible home base to walk and explore. Would absolutely love to stay again.

Great pool/ Hot tub.

Parking was not the greatest. The room looked clean until you closed the bathroom door and there was paint scraps behind it on the floor and moved the trash can in the main part and a big spider was there and you could tell it hasn’t been moved to be cleaned. The floor felt like there was sand all over it other than that it was a nice quiet stay

Very nice hotel near the beach. The location is great and the staff is friendly.

Snyder’s has the opportunity to be very nice based on the location (practically beach front), and view (lighthouse). You can tell the rooms were loosely updated, but could still pass for a 1980’s remodel. The room floor was dirty as well.

Excellent location for the July 4th weekend! The beach, sunsets, downtown shopping and food.

Loved our deck view of the beach and harbor entrance.

Small but clean and quiet

The window to our room was in direct view of an outside walkway was the worst of it. The room was small and there was no luggage rack to open our suitcase on. Had to use the table (which made it difficult to keep the blinds closed from the outside walkway). Keys worked great every time, along with faucets and shower. Great location for a walk to the beach or a walk to the Lighthouse. We got to see one of the ferry boats fron Wisconsin come in.

Great location. The only issue was that the air conditioner unit in the wall was extremely loud.

The room was clean but small. Great location!

No breakfast as promised on website.
A dirty towel on shower floor
No hand soap in the room,
Toilet seat was loose,
The tiles floors thruout were dirty (unmopped)
Cramped bathroom
to name a few

Room was fine, bare essentials only. Walls very thin, could hear everything. Air conditioner was either extremely strong and loud and freezing, or not turning on. Water pressure in bathroom was good, but there was no way to shower without the bathroom flooding because of the poor shower layout and thin curtain. Bathroom sink was backed up. Not worth the money.

Smallest room ever shower was tiny and spray went everywhere. Couldn’t see the water from ground floor Updated was attempted but not good.
