The pictures on the site were deceptive. There was black mold in every room. I am asthmatic and could not stay due to the mold. The windows were cracked and patched up with cardboard. We requested our money back and are waiting on the refund.

We did not stay even though they took my money. We left early because it was so dirty and in such poor condition.

It was a relaxing experience as planned.

Most everything in the room was dirty or broken. We worried about bed bugs! The mattress was actually comfortable but the Matt pad was filthy. Staff was nice Property was dated and dirty Room door would not shut and there were multiple holes in the walls that you could see out side. No parking when I came back late from a race. Only great thing was the view, so I guess you kinda get away with all the other stuff…I give it a solid 2

Ill recommend this hotel 💯. Staff very accommodating. Does everything in their power to make your stay enjoyable. Right on the beach.

Property was very well kept. Clean and manicured

Loved the view but was very unhappy to have to go ask for towels. The towels we received were stained up.

The view was beautiful and the area was pretty quiet. What i didnt like is the chipped paint look and the overall texture of the buildings. They say they renovated but it seems like a terrible renovation job. The front desk was super nice and helpful and the location is very convenient. Id just rather know the condition its in before booking. The pictures arent too accurate.

My flight was arriving late and the hotel called me. They set up everything to make my arrival and picking up my room key go so smoothly. All of the staff was exceptionally nice.

Dirty, nasty, and transient

It must have been perfect timing, because our stay was intimate and quiet. The parking is spacious, with easy access to the beach and a pool I spent way too much time in, as it was warmed. Not far from plenty of food options, but don't plan to eat too late, since most close early.

My husband and I stayed here last weekend for my birthday and our wedding anniversary and it was awesome. We had so many plans to go do things while we were there , but we ended up pretty much staying on the property the whole time in the pool looking at the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay at chateau Mar and will definitely be back !!!!

I like that the price was really reasonable... we got an early check in and late check out... Very nice friendly staff... Nice pool, large room... Comfy bed... Did not like... It needs a deep and thorough cleaning... Bulbs replacing and battery replaced in fire alarm

Really enjoyed our stay

Château Delmar is an old property that has a lot a lot of condition problems. They pay the outside and I am told that they will be remodeling the room soon…. after the summer season. However, current conditions are not good. Cracks in the walls, Craig on the edges of the bathroom and shower. No stopper in the sink. Missing lightbulbs. Loud clientele. Talking and fireworks during the night.(at first we thought it was gunfire.) police activity in the morning. Ordered some clean towels on Saturday. Never received until I walked down to get some on Sunday night. Most likely will never stay here again unless it’s by accident.

You get what you pay for but more and more the prices are going up and quality down. It was good to see alot of properties being worked on good to see daytona rebuilding it beach front area. Mar is a dent and scratch hotel and they would not dispute this fact only proplem is I think the furniture was on its third or more owner. Mosly clean the normal areas that get negeleted are here as well bath room, sink area dirty and tub area could have definitely used some love. The ice bucket is never cleaned and this one did not disappoint. There running bare bones and it showes.

Great stay for the price! The room (305) was much bigger than we had anticipated, which was nice. All the essentials were clean (beds, floors, toilet, shower) -just some stains on doors/walls that could use a good scrub down. Location was great- very easy access to beach. As all other reviews state, parking was an issue- there are only about 25 parking spaces and at 40+ rooms......there were always spaces available for us, but next to cars parked very crooked and/or taking up 2 spaces, which was frustrating. As other reviews stated, sometimes there was no one at the front desk, and there were waits- ie-we checked in around 6pm and had to wait like 20 min for someone to finally show up. There was a really loud doorbell and number to call, but it just went to the front desk (where there wasn't anyone stationed). They were very accomodating and friendly when they were there. Also, be aware that the balcony is not private. Chairs outside room and ocean view, but people walk by in front of you. Wasn't an issue for us, but may take someone by surprise who is used to that. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you. But, if youre looking for a clean, cheap place to sleep (like we were), this is it!

I liked my accommodation and I'm going again in three months, I've already made reservations

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean but had unexplained puddles of water on the floor. Lots of people smoking Marijuana but all in all it was a great time and we were able to relax.

It’s an older hotel so it’s a little run down but very affordable and the staff was great. My plane was delayed and they let me do a late check out
