The pool was cloudy and not swimmable for us. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel is a good value. We'll stay here again if we're in the area.

We stayed at Microtel as overflow for our family while we visited Keuka Lake. We appreciated the breakfast each morning and really liked the coffee. Although they seemed to be understaffed, they were polite and helpful and very friendly. It is within walking distance to the grocery store and local shopping. We also discovered pickleball courts within walking distance in a local park and played every morning that we were there. There is plenty of parking. I would recommend staying there.

Breakfast was disappointing. It took 3 days to get the room safe unlocked because previous guests left it locked. Staff did not interact with guests. No good morning or are you enjoying your stay or do you need anything. Cleaning rooms at 5pm is unacceptable. After 2 days I had to get clean towels myself. I know is traditional to leave a tip in the room but I felt no reason to do this.

Clean and well maintained,

We were on a mini-vacation in Penn Yan for three days...Finger Lakes fun and wine! PY Microtel is right in town near restaurants and shops and Art Center.

Everything was great, the room was clean, nice hotel!

Check-in staff were friendly. Room was not cleaned when came back late at night. Front desk indicated that they were short handed.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms! The breakfast fare was okay, but not as good as some of the other hotels, but handy and convenient, nonetheless! Would definitely stay here again!

I stayed there two nights with two rooms. Everything was fine we checked out and then booked the next night because we did not finish the job in the area where we were working. So once I booked the third night with two rooms through Expedia we got to the motel and they put my other guy in a dirty room and had to move him. When I got home from this stay and mind you this was back on the 27th of June it is now July 4th. They had charged my card the full price for two rooms beyond what expedia charged me. Thinking it was a simple mistake, I called them and politely asked that they fix it. Instead of fixing it they charged me two rooms again at the full price. So now I have paid for four rooms that were paie for it originally through expedia. So now they have $450 of my money and they cannot seem to get it rightThey are very incompetent and need to be fired including the freaking management. I went to my bank about it because microtel in Penn Yan said that it was my bank's issue. There's no reason my bank should be involved. However I did go to my bank even though the problem is on the microtel side. The bank told me that it was a microtel issue. If this does not get resolved very very very very soon I will start legal proceedings and most certainly make it known to all of Penn Yan possible and the microtel system that these people stole my money. All I want is my money back that they charged me beyond what I paid Expedia.

Clean and quiet

We moved 3 times. First room we received was not clean, second room tv did not work. The room we finally settled into, the springs in the mattress was no good.

It was well kept.

The staff was really nice and helpful. Everybody went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Very clean, good breakfast. We enjoyed the indoor pool. Walking distance to restaurants. I totally recommend it and I would definitely return.

Cleaning was not good, bath has yellow mildew, and hair in sink.

Rooms were comfortable, and extremely clean. Some street noise (big trucks driving through late at night/early in the morning). The breakfast buffet was "underwhelming", so we ate elsewhere.

The staff was courteous and friendly. Especially the woman that checked me in on Wednesday afternoon. She works the 3-11 shift.

Everything was clean, check-in was easy, continental breakfast was sufficient, coffee was good, tv remote was dirty (I cleaned) and the one charging port that was in the room didn’t work ( we went downstairs by breakfast area to use charge connection)

Parking is limited, not enough towels provided, rooms too small, elevator is too slow, no house keeping (hotel policy to only clean rooms every three days) one staff person does everything, my room keys were deactivated a day early couldn't get in room after I got in late from working all day. Internet is horrible! In my room after the fiasco with the keys, after showering and trying to settle down for the evening and do some paperwork, couldn't login on because the password was deactivated with my keys! No vending machines on the floors, Water is available, my first and only complementary cup had dirt particles. Too many strikes. I will not choose to stay there again.

The location is perfect for a weekend getaway! The staff is exceptional. Our room was clean with plenty of comfortable pillows. Shower was great. The 24 hour coffee machine in the lobby is an added bonus. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice hotel. Great location as a base for exploring the finger lakes. Good dining options around the area. nice breakfast buffet. Tasty waffles. Dog friendly. Comfy beds.

The best experience. Kudos to everyone in management. Continental breakfast could be expanded to include scrambled eggs or something but that’s a very minor complaint tbh.

Friendly General Manager that has a ton of pride in the establishment, along with enthusiasm. The entire place was super clean. Breakfast had a variety of items to choose from. We attended an event at Keuka College over the weekend. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Room by elevator a bit loud. Also, they played a very low music in the hallways, all night long too. It wasn't loud but for a light sleeper like myself I found it a bit bothersome. Great location.

Everything about the hotel was great, but the most important part was the attitude of one of the staff members Olivia. When we called the front desk about an issue in the room, she attended to it herself because the housekeeping staff was not available at that hour. She also took the trash out herself, cleaned the bathroom floor which was not really required, or expected from a front desk staff member.
