Very good. A charming little hotel in a good location. Would definitely stay here again. I would suggest wearing earplugs because the rooms are not very sound-proof; hallway and road sounds transmit into the room. Ambient noise around 50 dB even at 6 AM. Showers excellent, good flow, hot water. Room and bed quite clean. Some people have complained about their mattress, and it's true mine was a little firm, but I didn't mind it. Check-in was courteous and efficient. Yes, you do have to climb some stairs to get to your room.

Always a joy to come to this beautiful city of Montreal and Manoir Sherbrooke is always a place to stay. The FRIENDLINESS of the staff is beyond expectations and the location is convenient to plenty of must sees. The people of Montreal are kind and polite and the works should mirror this attitude, congrats to you MTL

The best thing about this place was its staff. Both at check in and check out, I met wonderful people who were very polite, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was awesome - great choices, tasty with good quality, well presented. The hotel has a unique and vintage feel about it. A related problem is there's no lift. Toilet seat wasn't clean enough and bathroom and toilet were very small.

We had a great visit at the Sherbrooke. The staff was helpful and friendly. The staff kindly stored our large suitcases, so we would make our way to the third floor, with our carry-on cases. We knew the manor didn't have an elevator, so we packed accordingly. The manor is lovely and situated in a bustling area. We only had one night in Montreal. They recommended visiting the old city, and we greatly enjoyed it. The staff directed us to a nearby well-known smoked meat restaurant. My husband truly enjoyed his sandwich. Also, the breakfast was by far the best we have experienced at a hotel in a very long time. We hope to visit again in the near future and visit more of the city. Well done!

Stayed an additional night in a same room, had offered room service during the breakfast but did not provide the services. The twin beds are smaller than standard twin. Short waking distance to both Metro stations ( Sherbrooke & Saint Laurent).

The room is spacious & clean. We were expected to have room services but we arrived back to hotel after 4pm & nothing was tightened up the room.

The front desk clerk was very nice. Beautiful old Historic building. But I had a room that had a toilet down the hall and the shower was down the hall. The t v did not work properly and the air conditioning did not work at all. Very nice breakfast buffet

Very charming bed and breakfast at a reasonable price and in a great location for walking the neighbourhoods and the old port. The room was spacious and the breakfast was excellent. We plan to stay here again.

The staff at Manoir Sherbrooke were great. They were very attentive and were just pleasant during every interaction. The hotel is a little dated, but in a charming way - similar to a bed and breakfast. The building itself is historic and still has its charm. We visited for a 3-day weekend during JazzFest and the location was absolutely perfect. Parking was a bit tricky, so I would suggest figuring that out beforehand.

We did enjoy our stay BUT for seniors in their 80's the off property parking was not easy. Yes it was just over 1/2 km walk BUT getting out of the garage was a joke as the pedestrian door was locked and had to walk up the ramp & wait for the door to open. Getting back out needed more instructions of how to use my printed receipt. Getting back to the hotel in my car was very frustrating due to one-way streets and construction. Perhaps a sheet with information could be handed out at reception?

Great location - Easy walking distance to most of the city's sites and dining. Also close to several bus stops and 30 walk to train station. The hotel is in a old Victorian style building. However, the AC was cold and my view was nice! I enjoyed the large soaking tub too! The mattress was a bit firm but not too bad. The complimentary breakfast was incredible! Also hot tea and coffee was provided all day long.

I enjoyed my stay (just 1 day) at the Hotel Manoir Sherbrooke in Montreal. The gentlemen at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. I arrived way early and stayed way late - they took care of my belongings and gave great directions. I loved my room, loved all the furnishings through the Hotel and breakfast was wonderful. The hotel is about a mile from Old Town/Wharf - I like to walk so it was perfect.

Nice and cozy place giving way to a homely feelings. Very courteous and attentive staff. Continental breakfast: hearty with a touch of homemade preparation. The only drawbacks are the lack of an elevator that can be an issue for those with people walking difficulties and the street noise especially the police and ambulances sirens. Despite those, my wife and I will more than likely return.

I had booked online & arrived by cruise ship. We were very early to the hotel, but the gentleman at the desk was so gracious and checked us in early & stored our bags until the room was ready. When we arrived back several hours later, the bags had been carried to our room. The hotel is vintage & charming. The room was clean & comfortable. Everyone was lovely & helpful. The continental breakfast was expansive. I would go back in a heartbeat & highly recommend this property. There are a lot of restaurants just a couple of blocks away & a bus runs right out front.

I was asked twice if I was staying at the hotel while eating breakfast by staff. They should find a more appropriate way to screen people or perhaps take some training on unconscious biases.

this is an OK hotel, with some friendly staff, but others who don’t pass on messages to their colleagues. It’s a great location. but the place has seen better days and is showing its age. The morning breakfast was OK, however the coffee was not drinkable in the least.
