This was a birthday getaway mixed with some shopping. I initially booked another hotel in the Brickell area but after seeing reviews and the fact that Hotel East is literally attached to a mall I made the change. I booked a high floor Corner king room and received exactly what I booked. This was also my first booking after becoming an Expedia VIP member and the hotel honored everything that expedia said I would receive without the need to feel like I was begging, this was a big plus for me. There are a lot of things to do within walking distance such as dinner at Sexy Fish but the hotel has excellent offerings as well even just drinks at the rooftop bar Sugar is a great time. The late checkout is also very convenient giving you the ability to leave as late as 3PM I will definitely be back again.

My stay was AMAZING! I will definitely be going back for a longer stay, the staff was very nice and made sure I knew the hours of the restaurants, what levels they are, all the information!

Amazing, I have a pitbull service dog and was nervous about them letting her stay. They loved her!!!! It made my stay so much better knowing she was welcomed.

East Miami is a very smart, modern hotel right in the heart of downtown Miami. It is very high tech with all controls from light switches to guest services run through mini ipads and control panels. The lifts are ordered using your room key and you can also order a room clean for a specific time. Like most of Miami, the food and drinks are relatively expensive but good. The pool area is very high end. Receptionist tried to upgrade me on arrival, which would have doubled my costs for 5 nights, so I declined, So watch out for that. There were no hidden charges or fees though unlike other hotels in and around South Beach.

Its always a pleasant stay at EAST, conveniently located close to fabulous restaurants, steps away from Brickell City Center for amazing shopping. Must stay if in the Brickell area!!

Arrived early and we were hoping for early access to the room. Check in said they would text us when ready. We had to go back a few times and ask about our room, they never texted when ready. Disappointing.

Beautiful property with wonderful service and a perfect downtown location.

First of all, the website pictures are misleading. This is the worst experience in a hotel so far, bad customer service, the bed is in very bad shape. We asked for a new room due to the condition of the mattress, the guy at the front desk said there is only one room left set for handicapped. When we checked online, there are still rooms available online to book. Also the light in the room is not enough, it is depressing. You will here noise from hallway all the time. Bottom line, if you're used to staying in 4 or 5 star hotels, this hotel is not for you.

Amazing hotel with all amenities. Security was very good too. For sure if I come back to Miami, East hotel will be my destination again.

I went on a trip with my girlfriend and it was good. The place was clean and nice however in my room the phone was not working at all since we got there. So we went downstairs to ask for towels for my partner and I to the front desk lady. My girlfriend asked for the towels to the front desk lady and told her to go upstairs to wait in the room so she went up and I stayed in the lobby. It passed 30 minutes and no one went. ( I understand it’s busy but no one show up at least to say something) while I was waiting in the lobby I told the front desk lady (blue eyes lady) we have been waiting for towels and we need to leave for our reservation. She barely paid attention to me because it passed 45 mins and no ones say anything. Anyway, we couldn’t wait anymore and we left to our reservation. I feel like they should paid attention to all customers needs not just some of who looks that they have money. It was ridicules that we waited for 45 mins for two towels. It was an inconvenience for us. The restaurant-rooftop was the same way. They placed us in a corner where it was not partner t for anything and the seats were very uncomfortable and the table was unstable. The food was ok but the drinks were horrible and expensive. We love good food and drinks and don’t mind to pay when it is a really good service!.but this place was not.

The staff members kept checking on my room even after I got an extended late checkout that I had to pay for. And the staff member did my take off my $44 credit that hotel.com provided for me.

The staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. The hotel was well kept and tidy. I love the convenience of the hotel’s location, everything you need is right there in walking distance. The environment was always calm and pleasant. The restaurants within the hotel were 5 star, they served delicious meals. Oh the views were amazing! I’ll pretty much book another stay in the near future. I had a fabulous stay!

Beach service was great. Clean beach. Polite and nice staff. Spacious room. Hotel feels tired and dated.

I loved the location...I love the rooms..and staff was friendly.

We wanted housekeeping everyday or at least every other day. We only got service when we called down to the front desk around 4-5 pm. They never replaced the soap or towels. Otherwise, we fully enjoyed the experience and room.

The view was amazing.

Loved the hotel. The room was spacious & comfortable. Loved our balcony. The rooftop lounge was a delight.
