Convenient Taxi to ferry to Belfast, was cold and rainy as expected, Limited dining options in town. Breakfast at hotel was good.

I booked 2 Superior Doubles- with King size beds. Check in closes at 9.30, so we didn’t stop for dinner on our way to make sure we made it (ended up not finding dinner after checking in). While driving, I received two emails, two (shortly worded) text messages and missed calls. We arrived and checked in by 8.20. The man at reception spoke to us like we were idiots, late and inconveniencing him. We later noticed that they were not, in-fact, king size beds but regular doubles. By that point, the main had left. I searched specifically for King size beds, and am unsure why we were harassed for being over an hour before closing.

Comfortable guest house within walking distance of Oxford center, university & along River Thames. Room was exceptionally clean. Some parking on premise (first come, first serve). Steep stairs, no elevator but that is to be expected in guest houses. Good place for solo, couples, families. Would stay here again.

Nice clean room, good big window. Pillows & bed quite firm which meant I didn’t sleep that well. Could do with a fridge in room. Other wise had a nice stay.

Very limited free parking (9 spots) and not sure there is anywhere else to park nearby; it was the closest hotel I could find to downtown. The room looked newly refreshed and was clean, but the towels were a bit threadbare. Water flow was pretty weak for the shower. The area looks like it’s in the middle of being upscaled so it looked a little dicey, but since it’s on a main street, it probably is reasonably safe. Traffic was horrendous getting there, so don’t miss the turn to the parking lot; it may take a long time to turn around !

A comfortable room right on one of the main streets close to city centre, easy access to public transport, on property parking. I would stay here again.

Nice guesthouse in Oxford, about a third of a mile from Christ College (and restaurants). Room and bathroom were small but comfortable. Staff helpful.

Staff was excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Room was recently remodeled and very clean and spacious. Location is a 15 minute walk from downtown and on major bus routes. I highly recommend

Excellent location for parking and exploring the City. 15 minute walk to the sights, pubs and restaurants. Difficult to get parked in this area. The room was comfortable and very clean. Great overnight stay.

Really convenient for walking into Oxford, not far from the river. Abingdon road is busy but the double glazing is really effective (we were at the front of the house). Super-clean, friendly staff - thank you!

There was a staff person who was obviously very prejudiced and we were not the kind he wanted at his hotel. He made it clear he was superior us and he tried to make us feel bad about being there. It put a bad feeling on our visit to Oxford. Americans, beware of being treated extremely rudely because of where you live. Even if you spend your hard earned money to stay at this hotel.

A convenient location, not too far for walking into town, but plenty of buses from the nearby stop. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, at the back of the house. I was surprised that breakfast was not included, but probably my fault for not reading the details carefully. However, I eat very little at breakfast and felt that £12.50 was rather too much for my requirements.

This was a great property. Our room slept 4, but barely. As an American, we need to remember that the 2nd floor is actually the 3rd floor. We had mobility impaired people and the stairs were tough.
Overall, the property was a advertised and the owners very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sportsview Guest House. The location was a major plus, allowing us to walk to various destinations, but also on a bus route which was convenient when we wanted to ride. There is no lift in the hotel so we had to carry our luggage upstairs to our room, which was not an easy task. Other than that we have no complaint.

Amazing location just 15 mins walk into the center and Oxford university. Clean and comfortable room. Nice staff. Easy check in and out. I was able to check in early as well. Thank you so much! Miss Oxford!!

Clean room in a safe home. A bit of a walk into Oxford and bus transportation is limited. The inn keeper has limited hours, but was at the property when we arrived. Very pleasant. Offers a continental breakfast for additional $10/day. With the cost of the room, the muffin and coffee could have been included.
