This resort is simply fantastic!! The amenities, restaurant, customer service and friendliness from the staff is commendable!!

We were supposed to check in on Feb 2,2024 unfortunately, the roads, specifically in Davao de Oro, weren’t passable due to flood and landslide. I tried to request for a refund but they charged me a cancellation fee instead. I wouldn’t cancel my reservation if the roads were clear. Do you expect me to risk my life just to get there? I understand there is policy regarding cancellation but my case was different. I didn’t cancel just for nothing. Hope i can get a response. Thanks

On the beach good restaurant. Only complaints rats and roaches. The swimming pool needs attention. Nice rooms modern wifi signal in and out

The room was actually outside the hotel…. There is no security… it is so dark when you go up… the stairs are dangerous. One of my companions actually slip… the lavatory is stuck, the phone doesn’t work, the wash basin in the bathroom leaks… definitely not a pleasant stay… we left earlier

We like that we left. I would have cancelled but it was not allowed. No water pressure on the shower. Limited hot water. Very uncomfortable bed. Ants/bugs in the room. Restaurant food at the resort is horrible. The whole place/rooms needs to be demolished. Room stinks. Staff is okay. Not worth the money.

Good location, large room. Good breakfast but was charged extra for ice coffee and no one mentioned that it wasn’t included in the breakfast.

Average hotel for area with average service and facilities at best . Expensive for quality of accommodation on offer but there again everything in General luna seems overpricedomewhat surprised at customer rating it has

Had a wonderful time at Reef Beach Resort. They had the most accommodating and friendliest staff! I will definitely come back again. I highly recommend!

Great place, good restaurant, friendly staff and the pool was a good spot to cool off. Great views right onto the beach. Very comfy and clean room and best selection of tv channels in the 4 hotel's I stayed at in siargao

The staff are very accommodating specially Marlon, John Bert, Juan and Joan and the manong guard at the gate. Not good about a reef resort, cannot be considered as a four star hotel. We reserved and paid early Jan.29 ,2019 and Checked in August 22, 2019, thinking we are to get a nicer room And view but unfortunately we were given a room near a room being renovated and painted which Paint is still Fresh and can we smell them In our room. That is not good for our lungs. We requested for a change of room but they told us no more available rooms .It’s good that we saw Marlon that night and we were transferred to a bachelors pad, downgraded but better than the first one. There were cockcroaches at the room coz they clean it only every two days, tissue papers are limited . No hand towels or even face towels. We don’t expect this kind of accommodation. We travel international and domestic but this is the worst experience so far. If not for their staff maybe we can rate them as two stars only. Photos of the hotel shown on line is totally different from that in person. Their food is good but pricey. With this experience , Will never book at Reef Resort ever.😞

I didn’t like the B1 room that we stayed. The bathroom smelled! The bidet was broken, it was leaking. The water on the sink in the bathroom stinks also. The kitchen cabinet smelled like cockroaches!

On the website offered appartement of 70 m2 We got one of 35 with uncomfortabel bed. Second night after long discusions a apartment of 48 m2 still not 70 .finally I found out there only 2 appartments of 70 m2 so we feld misled compensation 20 percent of the foodbill management very poor

Location is perfect if you want to be close but not in the busy area of tourism road. Staff is friendly and helpful. They could improve on their food ..... they could take lessons in burritto making and lessen the tempura batter. I'd stay here again. Price is reasonable.

Great hotel and staff. Room was very nice and clean. The pool was great and sunloungers overlooking the ocean perfect., Staff were really polite and friendly. Definitely recommend staying.

Due to the fact we lost our luggage from DC to Manila, we had to shorten this visit to one night. Too bad, but the local staff and hotels.com arranged a refund. Thanks much to both parties. Great service, great hospitality.

Staff were very responsive and the room was well equipped, even though water mains and internet were less than ideal as seems to be the case with the rest of the island. The restaurant did avoid the usual: "sorry sir not available", which was appreciated. *Reef* beach is exactly what you get.

Reef beach as a resort is great! The location, the food, the staff, the views, and the room we stayed in were all top notch and very much well worth the price paid for the stay. Only minor thing that we can think of to complain about is that there are certain areas/objects/spaces in the room that we stayed in that looked like it wasn't cleaned in a long while... good thing that this is just a minor detail for us and did not take away from the experience. Highly recommended to stay in this place when visiting Siargao. It definitely has everything you need.

The resort is in a terrific location and is an ideal place to relax

construction going on right next door, noise, hammering, not a comfortable relaxing experience. i left early could not deal with the noise. the wifi was not good. could not be on for longer than 5 min without getting kicked off.

The staff are friendly and couteous especially Julius even climbed up the coconut tree to treat us with fresh coco juice on our arrival. When they knew we were celebrating our anniversary, they decorated our room and gave us CHARDONEY. That was indeed a pleasant surprise! We enjoyed our stay in Reef Beach Resort.

Great place to relax and enjoy vacation with family and friends.

the location is just right, not so far from Cloud 9 and other establishments including the Boulevard/market. we love that we can cook and they have utensils available. It is very spacious, we are only four but six people can stay comfortably. The place is quiet. Food is okay though we only had breakfast there. you can relax in their pool, veranda, in the restaurant , walk in the shore or laze in the garden. They have pet dogs.

Long wait to check ...wrong room ... poor front desk and guest services..Kick backs to preferred taxis..Hidden charges. Noisy corperate partys..overpriced food ....STAY AWAY

I booked our stay tru expedia just for a night for 5 pax but was charged extra 1 pax when the home can accomodate 6 pax plus other tax charges. If I booked directly to the hotel I could have save 2k php. The facility is clean but pricey to the fact that there are not much things to see except enjoying the pool. Ita very close to the beach. There were no wifi available in our unit and the tv has poor connection. The thing I only like is you have a spacious living room and dining where you can cook your own food withoit worrying kotchen itensils to use.

I stayed at Reef Beach Resort because of its proximity to Cloud 9. In less than 5 minutes using the rented car I was already there, amused at the early risers raring to experience the Siargao waves. The hotel staff were all very nice, but efficiency can be improved, esp in the dining area. Faster service would have been very welcome esp after a day outdoors. Excellent for surfers, not for luxury travelers though. Cereal breakfast was excellent with hefty serving of fresh mango and banana.
