We loved our stay at the Litton its a beautiful hotel surrounded by lovely country side. The food and drink were excellent. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The only negative is the terrace attached to our room wasn't very private, its over looked and connected to the car park. The fencing around the terrace isn't solid and we can see through into the beer garden and vice versa. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely night in Chew room. Lots of pretty areas to sit and drink/dine. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Delicious breakfast in the morning to set you up for the day.

We had the nicest time at the Litton. Our room with roll tap bath was lovely. The food for dinner and breakfast was perfect. Staff really friendly. We will definitely be back. Placed in a beautiful setting we were able to take a nice country walk the following day.

This hotel is a real little gem in the Somerset country side, room lovely and bar and restaurant provided excellent choices and service. Good location for visiting Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells and Bath. Walks around the hotel give beautiful views.

Excellent choice. Perfect for relaxing break. First venture out as result of my husband shielding so naturally felt quite nervous. Had already spoken with Caroline pre booking who assured me of all COVID practices In place. Staff were superb and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and secure. Social distancing in restaurants excellent. Breakfasts and dinners superb. Good choices on the menus,Did not eat lunch as out,

This was a second trip to the Litton to have a weekend stay with friends, as before we had a great time, the staff are really friendly, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, the food is good. The breakfasts are excellent.

mostly students whilst i have no problem their lack of inexperience in hospitality on occasions shows.

Outstanding room. Incredible decor of the entire place. The biggest shame is we only got to have breakfast as we where at a wedding round the corner, the service was also very friendly and welcoming! I would definitely go back!

Lovely room, though having paid £140 it was on the smaller side. Nice bedding, lovely bathroom (no bath). Robes and slippers provided. Breakfast was included, and they kindly brought it upstairs which was a nice touch.
Dinner in the evening was nice, the atmosphere was good - very busy restaurant. Sadly the fish pie was watery and we did bring this up but we weren't offered anything to be done about it except replace it which at 9.45pm was a bit late - would have been nice to been offered something to say sorry for that. Eggs benedict in the morning was done with nice eggs, lovely bacon, the hollandaise was a bit too vinegary. Nice staff and quiet rooms. Wifi not great!

We found the The Litton a very comfortable place to spend the night. The room was a good size and beautifully furnished. The staff were able to accommodate us in the busy restaurant without a booking and we enjoyed a delicious meal. Everyone was very helpful and we found it really easy with our baby. Would love to come again.

We had a wonderful time visiting the area and, can safely say we would definitely stay at the Litten again. Every member of staff that we met couldn’t be more helpful. We decided after a day of sightseeing we would eat in, and we were so pleased we did. The food was excellent and having a vegan daughter,she was so pleased with the vegan menu and vegetarian breakfast.

We stayed for a long weekend and chose the Litton because it was close to several places we wanted to visit and we couldn’t have picked a nicer place. The staff were super friendly, the accommodation was lovely and clean and everything was in excellent condition. There was a decent choice on offer for breakfast and the food was location is remote but we travelled by car so it was easy to reach Bristol, Cheddar and other interesting locations in the Mendip Hills.
I would definitely recommend the Hotel to anyone wanting to explore the area.
