Absolutely loved this property. 5 steps to the beach! Only 5 rooms, excellent staff. Catered to our every need. Food onsite at restaurant was amazing

Everything you need at the quiet end of the beach. Grounds are well maintained, room was comfortable with all the necessities, and staff is friendly. You have the option to dip your toes in the ocean or dip in the pool, eat great food on site, and have a great seat for the sunset.

This property is right on the beach and within walking distance to the town. The beach and surrounding area is clean. You can view beautiful sunsets right at the back of the property. Cafe de Playa restaurant is in the property and has great food and service.

Was advertised as a ‘good’ hotel. That is true. No more than that. More like a motel, not boutique hotel. Says daily maid service and bicycle rentals- neither of those existed. Had to ask for more toilet paper. Did not ask for maid service as we did not want it. Shampoo and shower gel available but no conditioner. No beach chairs available even though directly on the beach. Can walk to town but it is about .75 miles on the road or 0.5 on the beach. No specific area to wash sand off feet when returning. Restaurant staff friendly. Would probably stay somewhere else next time.

We needed a place to stay that was close to airport. Lucky to come across this place. It's a hidden gem. Thankful for an air conditioned room. Restaurant had great ambiance, drinks, food, right on the beach. Staff was courteous.

Room was no frills for sure, but to walk out of our room straight to the beach was worth it. Staff there were so friendly and went above and beyond, bringing chairs, food, and drink out to the beach to us! Cocktails were amazing!

The hotel only has 5 rooms and a nice pool. The bar and restaurant are owned separately. The rooms were pretty funky but clean and the beds were good. What makes this such a great place is the proximity to the beach and the fantastic restaurant. We ate there every night and it was the best food we had for the $$ in Costa Rica. We loved it so much they brought the chef out to meet us! What a talented young man!!

Very nice location. Clean and safe. No seating/chairs in room makes it difficult to sit on bed for everything. Mattress sorly uncomfortable. Back pain developed during our stay. They dropped the ball on room services the first day and ignored my request for towels to shower. Super courteous staff when engaged.

It was alittle private gem off the beaten path. Luis the chef is incredible!!!!! Staff made me feel like family. Will always stay there when Coco.

This hotel was small, only 5 rooms. We stayed for 15 nights. The room we had was really big and had everything we needed. The pool was right outside the door and the restaurant was just steps away. The food was excellent and had a superb view of the bay. The staff were all hard workers and ready to assist you with anything you needed. They all worked hard to keep this place in good shape and yes I would stay here again.

Simple, clean accommodations in a quiet area close to town. Loved the beach and the pool!

It's a nice little 5 room motel behind a very good restaurant. The first night we were put in room 1, which was not great. Second night we stayed in room 2 which was much better. Staff was really excellent and very nice. Pool and garden area are small, but lovely and well maintained. We had 3 meals at the restaurant, and they were all excellent. Beach out front is really great too. I would definitely stay here again when I return.

A pleasant place to stay without a lot of frills.

We enjoyed our stay here. Nice beach. Decent restaurant. No room service though and no phone in room. Also no mini fridge. Their advertisement about beach front rooms is not correct however the rooms don't face the ocean.

This property is first and foremost a RESTAURANT that happens to rent a few rooms. The bathroom was filthy upon check in. Not sure its ever actually been thoroughly cleaned. Reception is the bar. They had a paper binder to manage their reservations. It showed we were to be in room #2, but given the keys to stay in room #1. The Reception desk (bar) isn't staffed until 11 am. This is problematic if you need to check out before 11 am. You're lucky if you can find the "housekeeper" when you need to refresh your towels etc and ask for cleaning. The sheets were clean and bed comfortable, nice pool area. Definitely not more than a 1 star property and way over priced for what you get.

Perfectly located right on Playa Coco beach, with a beautiful patio restaurant right on the beach. And the fresh fish was excellent! As well, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Plus a great wine list & glass wine fridge.

Great little spot

The hotel and cafe were excellent. About a kilometer away from the main town, so there was no major noise concerns, but easily walkable along the beachfront trail without worrying about cars. Very comfortable ex-pat/tourist area, so english will be all you need, but a little spanish and respect will get you a long way. Plenty of the standard tourist shops in town and a lot of excellent restaurant options. The hotel/cafe staff were excellent to work with, but not around/available until 11:00 when the cafe opens.

The condition of the rooms don't make this place the best value. The pool area is underutilized since the beachfront is prioritized. There is not an airport shuttle service. However, the service from the restaurant staff (Alison was great, as well as the other servers) was great and deserves to be mentioned. Everyone was incredibly friendly and very attentive. Overall, they were the difference in making our stay a positive experience. The restaurant has good food and the hammocks are a great addition for relaxing. Friendly staff (Alison was great!). Great location on beach short walk to everything you need. Slightly dated, but nice clean room. Restaurant attached fantastic. Great value.. would stay here again!

Hotel was ok but needs upgrade to rooms. Was not worth the price or room.

Cute place

Fun little place right by the beach

Friendly and professional staff. Very helpful in arranging activities. On-site restaurant offered a nice menu, we enjoyed the catch if day, the shrimp avocado salad and refreshing tropical cocktails. The room was basic but spacious and comfortable.

Happy Hour was impressive. Beautiful area facing the beach, cheap booze and gd service. Everything els was so so. The price brought me here and if the price was the same, I woul rerun. Weirdly, couldn’t check out until 11AM and no breakfast service.

Right on the beach with a great restaurant. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.
