Lovely clean quiet warm room

Was looking for a quiet time and that’s exactly what I got. Property was lovely.

Lovely place to stay. Very nice food available across the road.

I was contacted the day before my stay, and provided with the details relevant to my booking. Kate was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and cool (it was a hot weekend!) Also, as I was only staying overnight, I really appreciated that I could check in and out, independently at times that suited me.

Meticulously clean. Warm. Good bed. Great breakfast.

Comfortable old style with modern touches

The Lancefield Guesthouse was very well presented with a lot of character. Good breakfast options were provided, and the staff was very accommodating of our needs.

Beautiful property with lots of plants, the staff were welcoming and it's short walk to the pub and main street

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable but room was too small with no room for suitcases (2 as 2 people). Not good value

Nice guesthouse in quiet location. Rooms was pleasant. Nice grounds. Close to some great local drives and landmarks in the Macedon Ranges.

Absolutely fantastic; excellent value. Quick and friendly booking in from Kate. Comfortable bed and room was clean wih all the necessary facilities. Close to walk to the main street and hotel. Interesting building and lovely garden; would stay again if back this way. Continental breakfast was much appreciated.

Checked in pretty quick at reception and shown through property only to be shown our room outside off The nice house, in a small room, which felt more like a motel room. Lady didn’t bother to give us wifi code, as I asked she had Already left. For $145 in a small town I expected a bit better. The room had one window and that was really high, so couldn’t see out. Went to the pub and were told we needed a booking and they were booked out, yet I didn’t see anyone at the tables. Might give this town a miss next time.

We have stayed at Lancefield Guest house several times previously. It fits our requirements perfectly. And are very nice people.

In need of a update. Dark rooms, no ambiance and old fashioned. Not what I expected. The place smelt a bit stale and the room decor was a bit depressing and lacking of good light and colour. Bathroom also dated.

Quiet olde world

Had a lovely charm and beautiful gardens - the guest house was also toasty warm when we walked in after having been at a an outdoor event (in May)

Our guest house was perfectly located close to town great facility in the guest house and friendly staff

Kate was a very helpful and lovely host. We left an item in the room and she kindly searched the room, found it and posted it back to us.

We really enjoyed the friendly host and staff and would definitely stay again. Very quiet and although you are on a corner traffic noise was only minor. A good selection of bread for toast and cereal etc for self help continental breakfast. Very central to wineries etc. A great olds building with an interesting past. The other guests made for an enjoyable discussion over breakfast.

Lovely historic building which has been lovingly cared for. All rooms had ensuit bathrooms. Breakfast was good. We will go back again.
