The breakfast was really good and it was near the Dover Castle.

A very warm, cozy and familiar stay. Sharon is super welcoming. The breakfast is amazing (and vegetarian/vegan friendly).

The property was in a great location near Dover Castle and the ports, and was easily within walking distance of retail outlets. The owners were very friendly and accommodating; I would definitely recommend it.

A lovely place to stay, an easy walk from the train station and up to the castle. Also good spot to start walk on the Vera Lynn trail up onto the White Cliffs. And they had no trouble with us storing our luggage until after we had visited the castle and were ready leave Dover.

The room was very tiny but cute and lovingly outfitted. I had everything I needed. People were very friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly and attentive. We would happily stay there again.

전형적인 영국 일반 주택이에요. 호스트는 매우 친절 했으며 아침식사를 제공할 때는 어느 호텔 못지 않는 전문가였습니다. 방이 너무 마음에 들었으며 다음에도 기회가 된다면 또 이용하고 싶어요. 참고로 싱글룸은 4층 다락방이지만 혼자 사용하기에 전혀 불편함이 없었어요. 엘리베이터가 없다고 투정부리지 마세요. 아파트가 아닌 일반 주택에 엘리베이터가 있을리도 없고 상세설명에도 써져 있어요.

My partner and I had the most wonderful time staying with Sharron and Vaughan at Castle House. Our room was large and spacious, with a gorgeous bathroom and plenty of blankets for our stay. Breakfast was huge and delicious, so we were well fed and had a relaxing breakfast in the 1940’s themed dining room. You will not find a better place to stay in Dover, and I’ll be coming back again ASAP.

The owners were really lovely and kind. It was a good location since it was about the closest you could get to the foot of the castle and save time to the path to the White Cliff Centre as well. Very reasonable priced considering how awesome it was. I’m hoping to come back to Dover with my mom in the summer and really hope to be able to stay here again

The location can’t be beat. So central. Staff very lovely. The twin attic worked out perfectly for my brother and I. And the dog-friendly attitude is fantastic. Dover is lovely too! Thanks for being so welcoming!

Delightful guesthouse with a very tricky and narrow staircase.... Pack light so you do not have to try and haul a big bag up the stairs. The rooms are tastefully furnished with the right amount of comfort and practicality. Lovely little touches to the rooms are welcomed as extra bits of comfort. No hairdryer in my room. The amazing breakfast is made to order and very generous in a very elegant dining room in the basement. The husband and wife team are kind and gracious hosts and are to be commended on their gem in Dover. Parking was tricky and you cannot leave the car outside during the day between certain hours. There is a paid lot very nearby for daytime parking. Not a big hassle but it took a little bit of working out. Loved the location Highly recommended except if you do not like steep and narrow stairs - which is part of the charm of staying in an English guest house!

Stairs steep and narrow and I was on the second floor, but at least there was a secure place on ground floor for heavy suitcase - this wouldn't have helped for a longer stay, though! However, bed was SO comfortable and breakfast was really excellent. Shower also very good but needed a shelf for shampoo etc.

Wonderful hospitality. Everything was cleaned thoroughly and all questions were rapidly answered. Stayed one night in the attic room and was surprised with how bright, cool and spacious the room was. Breakfast was great-was given a menu to chose from and everything was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable stay in a large and well decorated room. Excellent breakfasts and a warm and friendly welcome. Good location for centra Dover, Castle and Cliffs. Would stay again.

We had an amazing stay at Castle Guest House. Sharon was the perfect host. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for our two day stay. Sharon was aware of the Covid 19 situation and requirements. We had no problems at all. Breakfast included was espectacular, several options of food prepared by Sharon and her husband. Castle Guest House is one of the few pet friendly guest houses in Dover. Our dog also had a great time.

Wonderful location, breakfast was simply the best ever and prepared for us by our host.

Loved this guest house, the proximity was close to the seafront, the castle and the whitecliffs. The local pub The White Horse was excellent for food service and price. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Would recommend staying here.

Overnight stop coming back from France to see Dover Castle. Welcoming hosts, lovely large room and beyond delicious breakfast ! They even let us keep our suitcases there while we visited the castle and came back for them later in the day to catch our train.

Convenient to downtown, the castle and cruise terminal. The full English breakfast was immense, delicious and piping hot. Could be the best I've ever had other than at home. Rooms are all up narrow flights of stairs. Dining room is in the basement. Our room was nicely appointed even though old.

Really nicely presented guest house with very welcoming hosts

Castle Guest house is a hop skip and a jump from Dover Castle and in a great location for most of your needs in Dover. This charming Georgian era guest house is a great place to stay. We found our hosts to be extremely helpful and engaging, and their two Boarder Terriers were adorable. Our room was clean, bright and delightfully appointed. The full English Breakfast was very good and gave you a great start to the day. We will definitely go back!
