Food poor, not up to standard. TV tiny, old-fashioned, very limited choice of channels. Bathroom shower badly designed. This was for a wet room. Taking a shower made half the bathroom floor wet. Porterage unhelpful. I've loved the Miramar for many years. I wouldn't recommend it now and will not be returning.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Lovely hotel, I would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Parking £15 per night. Good breakfast. Staff were super friendly. No complaints whatsoever. Would definitely stay again.

the room was like a broom cupboard, dirty dishes from other peoples rooms were left outside our room, shower had no power and the hand held was broken. safe locked itself with our belongs and would not open had to get the management to open it twice. blood on skirting boards, cracked tiles in the bathroom, carpet worn, windows falling apart and room temperature like a sauna! charged different prices for parking depending on how it was booked. the hotels attention was on wedding bookings and our custom was felt more second class. Bournemouth otherwise a lovely place.

It was very pleasant, calm and clean.

Great standard of hotel, nicely located by the sea-front. Helpful and friendly staff were always on hand and a pleasure to deal with. Easy transport options nearby, should you want to ditch the car for the day. I'd stay here again, all in all it's a high standard.

The property is well positioned to access the beach and shops. Staff was great, helpful and polite. The room was lovely but sadly I didn’t book a sea view because of cost, so if you can afford it have a sea view. Food options was good but a little pricey.

Good sized room with 2 single beds pushed together. Very comfortable mattress. Bathroom clean and shower over bath. Bit tight in terms of space. Large hanging cupboard. Rubbish tv with useless remote control. Reported it when we left the next morning.

It was very poor value for money with a poor bedroom with old furniture. We did get a free breakfast but this was quite poor as well.

Hotel was good but as I went through expidia I got a second class room where the TV reception was in and out, complementary toiletries were not Molton brown as we're other rooms, no fan untill I requested and notified by reception staff that because I didn't book directly with them I had to pay for breakfast and parking or I would of had them for free, so not the 4* room I expected

A Very traditional hotel, with great service, good food and a stately air about the place. Right by the beach, beautiful views from the many huge balconies, and efficient friendly staff..... nothing to complain about .... had a great time.

It was a lovely stay. The staff were so lovely and were very helpful. The food in the hotel was very tasty. Our room was lovely and had the most amazing views. It was lovely and peaceful and very relaxing. The only two negative things were that there were not enough plug sockets in the room especially there were none by the bed to charge my phone. The second thing was that the pillows were much too hard and for someone who has a back problem this does not help. Overall we had an amazing stay and we would most definitely go back again and would recommend the hotel to others.

Lovely old hotel. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Only issue with our room was that the windows looked into the flats next door and their balconies so not very private.

Really run down hotel, filthy dirty, Incompetent staff, terrible drinks and food. But more than anything this hotel is run by a nasty vindictive completely inhospitable man. AVOID. PLEASE. DO NOT BOOK THIS NIGHTMARE OF A HOTEL

Everything bar one element was excellent- however we got back at 10.45pm one night and doors were locked and despite ringing the entry phone for 5 minutes, banging on door we were ignored by the night porter who when he eventually opened the door wouldn’t even apologise. Sad because all other staff were great.

My stay this time was very dissappointing i was given a smelly room again after complaining bout that same room on my last visit , i was moved to a nicer room quickly . But this room shouldnt keep being let out . At dinner i was wanting ala carte but a waiter tried to insult my intelligence by telling me in a patronising voice that the bar menu was ala carte he even opened it and started pointing at all the items on the bar menu. When i finally sat in the restuarant i asked for a softer roll to which they microwaved to make it soft and exceptionally hot then within a cple of minutes was rock solid . I ordered duck salad which consisted of 3 strips of dry overcooked duck and 1 orange segment cut in half with the rind still on . The roadt beef dinner was ok although beef was well done not rare like i asked . Dessert was nice but for £35.00 it was poor. The waitress and waiter was nice except the long haired patronising guy at the start . The folleing morning i wanted a hot bath to help my back pain but mid way through i put the shower on to rinse my hair with the plan of continuing my relaxing bath although the shower was broken and woukdnt turn off so i had to pull the plug . Im actually really angry that after explaining all of this to the receptionist all i got was a business card explaining if i stay again they will upgrade me its insulting .

Lovely building and view onto sea. Bar food disappointing and had a squeaky bed so difficult to relax and sleep through the night.

The Hotel is in an amazing position, and look very nice, Unfortunately the room I stayed had an unpleasant odor from carpet.

It was a nice one night stay. The room was clean and nice.

Had to change rooms first one smelt but was changed without issue . Second room old fashioned but comfy and clean home from home feel all around hotel. Friendly efficient staff , good food reasonably priced . I sat outside upon checkout views were amazing could of been abroad if it wasnt for the chill lol. I had lunch before i left best prawn sandwich id had packed with prawns and came with salad and crisps for a very good 9 pound , id go back

Arrived early by train and they helpfully allowed us to store bags with them. Upon return to collect key, found the bags had been taken to the room already
