Great location and plenty of room for our group. Really appreciated the fantastic dock and everything that was provided. Kids loved the lilly pad, slide and kayaks. Adults enjoyed all of the chairs at the dock. Thanks for a great weekend.

The location of the property is great. We brought our boat and enjoyed having a private dock.

We stayed 4 nights at Gilly's Retreat. We booked through VRBO which was easy and straightforward. We did attempt communication with Pamela prior to our stay initially with no response, we found out later after reaching out through VRBO that the emails had gone to spam (which when you run a business that should be checked regularly, in my opinion). It wasn't a huge deal, just caused some concern up front. The house itself was well appointed and very clean. They provided so many extra amenities which were so appreciated - lake towels, toiletries & household goods, coffee and spices. The rooms were good sized, and the bunk/trundle bed in the lower level was great for my three teenagers. Be aware that the stairs to the lower level are quite steep, so if you have mobility issues that could be a concern. The dock had many floatation items, kayaks, a lake mat and plenty of chairs for enjoying the lake. The house is located in a quiet cove, making the stay that much more pleasant. Overall we had a great stay at Gilly's Retreat celebrating my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. It was a trip we will never forget!

We had a great week at Gilly’s Retreat! The home had almost everything we needed. The 2nd refrigerator came in handy, good amount of space for our group! The decks were great and the dock couldn’t have been more perfect!

We've been staying down at the lake for over 25+ years and this was one of the nicest places we have been at. We had 10 guests and there was plenty of room. Great house, plenty of room, nice dock, nice quiet cove. Plenty of room for parking. All in all a great place!

We had a large group and all enjoyed the house. Everyone had their own space when needed and we all thoroughly enjoyed the large boat dock for our boats. The house was nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets for our large group. The outdoor areas were all set up nicely and we really enjoyed the firepit. We also were all able to park at the residence with the boat trailers which is hard to find. Check-in and check-out were both easy and the communication was fantastic. We have zero complaints and all said we would absolutely come back to this property.

We visited during non peak times. The home was well equipped and provided plenty of space for our family. Fall colors were stunning. We enjoyed spending time on the large dock.

We stayed for 5 nights! Beautiful house and in a beautiful location. Peaceful and quiet get away in the off season. Plenty of wildlife around the house to see. Overall great experience!

Some friends and I stayed here during the third week in September, and it was a great experience. The house was clean and well furnished. The upper deck was in good shape and the view of the cove was awesome. The lower level walkout was convenient. The fire place and side yard were an added bonus. We spent a good deal of time on the dock itself and in the lake. It was a great place to float and relax in the lake- which was still about 80 degrees. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it if you are looking for a good place at the lake.
