Our experience was not that great we had problems with the safe in our room cleaning of the room was not do to the best no ice machine on the floors very inconvenient to call for ice ever time we wanted ice pool was twice not allowed to us because the where cleaning and doing stuff vet bad service at pool side also elevators took for every to get to lobby from floors

Very nice and clean ! The only bad thing is that they close pool at 7 pm.

I didn't like that at check-in, the hotel asked for the 2nd person's name (in writing), because it could be intrusive towards the privacy of guests. Note that my reservation didn't include breakfast or an open ticket during the stay, so there was little need to do this. Also there's a lot of construction going on at the 1st floor of the property. Many shops are closed due to this. Whats more is that I could hear some noise of cars driving around the avenue next to the hotel. In this regard I think the sound proofing leaves some room for improvement. I've been to other chain hotels that do a much better sound proofing job, where you can't barely hear a thing coming from the outside. Moreover, after my plane from Dallas landed I called for a shuttle, but I couldn't get one because the hostess said it would take a long time to schedule it and reach the airport. So for 10mxn each, I took two public service bus instead, from the airport to arrive at hotel. Very uncomfortable. Finally when leaving the hotel, I programmed a taxi for 450 mxn, although I was charged 550 due to traffic. So for practical purposes, Hard Rock hotel doesn't have a shuttle service.

Overall the hotel was very nice. The staff was great. I did have an issue with the hot tubs. I specifically booked a room with a hot tub but when it came time to use it, it had a foul odor. Maintenance came to clean it and it was ok until I turned the jets on and the odor returned. They switched us to a different room but that hot tub had the same issue. At that point it was late in the night and I didnt feel like waiting for staff to come look at it again and wait some more to fill up the tub to turn on the jets again and possibly have the same issue. At checkout, we were given a free breakfast and told they would folllow up with expedia about a partial refund for the room since I could not use the hot tub but I have not been contacted as I was told I would be and messages have gone unanswered. Not sure if I would stay at this hotel again but if I do, I would not spend the extra money for a room with a hot tub.

Very clean and nice hotel, however I felt like as a girl traveling solo I definitely was not as welcomed as when I’ve traveled with my partner to the same hotel. Granted I was only there for 2 days, but I’ve been to the same hotel with my bf 3x this year and the staff was always amazing and attentive. This time as I traveled alone for work, I without a doubt felt the judgment from the staff & could tell I was not as welcomed coming alone as a girl. Don’t know why. I used to love this hotel, however wouldn’t recommend as a solo trip.

Awesome stay.

Property was pretty clean. Ran into a few issues from the beginning of our stay. The top lock on our door was broken. They sent someone up to fix it, mind you this was around 8pm and we were on our way out to dinner it took around 25 minutes to fix. They should have just gave us a new room instead of having us wait. Then the next issue we countered was that the AC wasn’t working because the tablet wasn’t connect yet again they had to send someone up again. took another 25 minutes of our time. The mini fridge in our room wasn’t working, we didn’t bother calling anymore because we don’t want to wait around having to wait for someone to fix it. & lastly the pool was not heated at all, or if it was it was VERY minimal. Probably won’t stay here anymore for the price & will be picking another 4 star hotel next time we come to Guadalajara.

I loves my room and the check in process was easy and not stressful at all. I think they can focus on explaining all the amenities a little better and letting guests know where everything is located . Overall good place to stay at

There was a smell that came from the restroom. It never went away. The mini fridge didn’t work, you had to call for ice. The AC stopped working, the drapes didn’t work. You could hear a train and loud music all night. One of the servers in the breakfast buffet asked for a bigger tip. The cleaning service was fast and gave us towels when we asked for extras, the bar staff was friendly and made good drinks. The elevators are small, so you have to wait a while. We were told that we couldn’t put anything on the room, we had to buy a voucher or pay cash. This was an inconvenience. Their “Starbucks” didn’t have hot coffee. Honestly, we would not recommend this property.

TERRIBLE CONDITION EVERY ROOM HAS A PROBLEM EITHER AC DOES NOT WORK OR CURTAINS DONT SHUT ALL THE WAY OR WATER ON ALL SHOWERS DOES NOT FLOW VERY LITTLE WATER PRESSURE I HAVE STAYED HERE MANY TIMES BEFORE FOR WEEKS BUT THEY DO NOT DO ANY MAINTENANCE HERE AT ALL , HOTEL IS NICE BUT JUST NOTHING WORKS CORRECTLY ANYMORE PLEASE I HOPE HEADQUARTERS OF HARD ROCK HOTEL FIXES THIS HOTEL FROM TOP TO BOTTOM IS A SHAME TO SEE IT GO DOWN LIKE THIS
