The Cabin is amazing! It has great views, easy to get to, super comfortable furniture and most importantly it was very clean! We were there for Minitruck Nations and having great roads and ease to get to the cabin in super important! Host Camelle was fantastic she responds quickly and answers any question you may have! We are already planning our next trip!

We stayed at Chestnut Lodge and it was AMAZING! The cabin was beautiful, open and spacious but cozy, well equipped and comfortable. Slept as if I were in my own bed. The views are breathtaking and the evening Elk visits were exciting. The local town and people were fabulous. Everyone was friendly, interesting and full of history and knowledge and willing to share stories. We took a 4 hour tour of the mountains with Scenic Tours and Rentals and it was FABULOUS! Thanks to our guide, Cole! I highly recommend visiting Maggie Valley & staying at Willow Tree cabins! I cannot wait to go back!!

To begin with Mrs. Camelle is a joy to rent from.. Camelle reached out to us to make sure everything was ok with our check in ..Chestnut Lodge is a beautiful cabin inside and out. We can't fund any fowls of this home. Its well cleaned and the pictures speak for there selves..We sat outside every evening and watched the elks in the field and plus the view if the mountains were Amazing.. We have stayed at many cabins but Chestnut Lodge is and will forever be my favorite and we definitely book again

Never dissapoints. Alway perfectly clean.. No odors. Drinkable water and full amenities. We like the closeness to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Sleepy Maggie Valley. If the cabin goes for sale I intend to buy it.

Chestnut Lodge in Maggie Valley, NC is a beautiful, elegant cabin in a wonderful setting. The house is perfectly furnished and decorated for a relaxing stay, with everything you could possibly need to sit back and enjoy. Surrounded by mountains, the Cataloochee ski runs, and peace--what more could you want? Keep your eyes open; you may see an elk or two! I guarantee, you'll want to come back!

We honeymooned in Maggie Valley last year and went back for our 1st anniversary. The cabin was super nice and very cozy! Definitely would recommend it to anyone. It's close to everything.

My wife and I booked this cabin for an anniversary trip. We both loved the location of the cabin for many of reasons. The first reason is because you are in a good part of town and do not have to worry about watching your car and other belongings every minute to make sure they are still there and okay. You also are not looking over your shoulder for your safety every time you go out. Second is you are less than 5 minutes from restaurants and gas stations if you do need anything, so it is very convenient. It is a very easy straight shot to the casino also.

Chestnut Lodge was a pure delight, so much so that my wife didn’t want to leave to come home. From top quality furnishings to an excellent view of the mountains and surroundings, we have never stayed anywhere as nice. The spaciousness and quality, as well as the fact that it was so quiet made for a restful week’s vacation. We can’t wait to return next year. Wonderful small towns to visit and be with nature too. My wife described it as “God’s country”.

My daughter and I enjoyed our mother/daughter stay at the Chestnut Lodge. We had everything we needed, the amenities are well thought out, very accommodating. And I am a stickler for the cleanliness and the cabin was very, very clean. Our favorite part was relaxing on the porch. We saw the elk one afternoon at dusk. The cabin is close to all the restaurants and shops. We especially enjoyed "J. Arthur's Restaurant" the prime rib was the best. Maggie Valley is a quiet town; however, Waynesville is only a short drive. If you want restful, peaceful vacation, I recommend the Chestnut Lodge. Camelle is the greatest and most caring host. We will use her for our next mountain stay.

Four of us came on motorcycles to see the mountains. Chestnut Lodge was our home for our short week. We came back early each day to eat dinner and then sit on the porch and rock. First thing in the morning, we sat on the porch and had our coffee before starting the day. Chestnut Lodge felt like a home. It is cozy and comfortable. The beds are super comfortable. Having a “home” made our trip more memorable!

Chestnut Lodge is a beautiful place to stay! The outside is just as charming as the inside. We loved sitting out on the porch looking for the elk and we saw the beautiful creatures throughout the neighborhood! Really enjoyed the rocker gliders. Everything inside was so cozy and very clean and comfortable! One of the very best places we have ever stayed in. We will absolutely be coming back!

Absolutely a very beautiful and sound cabin home in a very nice neighborhood. It was stocked with all the necessary pots pans and dishes along with utensils and paper products. It is like this owner equipped this cabin with everything that they would like to find if they were the guest. I would very much recommend this place and owner as the owner even texted me to make sure everything was a-ok after the first night.

Chestnut Lodge is very clean and well decorated. You have all you need to make your stay seem like you are right at home. Thee view is so beautiful. We sat on the porch rocking most of the time while enjoying the beautiful mountains. Camelle checked on us and made sure we arrived safely. The beds were very comfortable. There is nothing negative to say about our accommodations and our stay. We plan on returning to Chestnut Lodge next May and August. This is our new go to place. Love it here! Th

WE stayed a week and enjoyed our vacation. The house has plenty of room for a family. I enjoy cooking and there was plenty of utensils. The rooms were large and decorated beautifully. I enjoyed the beautiful glass shower and the extra soaps and wash cloths that were provided.. We plan to rent this cabin again. Thanks Camelle.

Chestnut lodge is a beautiful cabin with everything to make your stay very comfortable . The gliders on the front porch are wonderful for watching the rabbits,birds and elk . Camille is a great host and very easy to reach if needed , this was our second time staying in one of her properties and we definitely will be back ..

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The neighborhood is so charming and peaceful. It’s like a little slice of heaven in the mountains with gorgeous views full of nature. The cabin it truly felt like a home away from home, very cozy and beautiful with all the necessities needed. I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better vacation and we absolutely will be returning!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Chestnut Lodge, Willow tree cabins. The property is in a cluster of log cabins with nice views of the mountains. It is easy to get to with very good access to restaurants and local attractions. The cabin itself is very well appointed and maintained with all the necessary kitchen, bathroom and bedroom items needed. The beds themselves are very comfortable as is the living room and furniture on the porch where we would have coffee in the morning. We are quite particular but found the cabin to be very clean in all respects. He felt as if you could walk right in and feel at home. We did have a small bull elk with a tracking collar behind the cabin one morning as well as in a field the next day. Would like to have seen more in the entire area but with the days warming up I'm sure they moved to high country. Camelle contacted us shortly after we arrived to be sure we were able to get in and had everything we needed. The pictures online are quite accurate and the entire state was easy and relaxing.

The cabin was as described. Very clean and all the amenities. Host went above and beyond to make our stay great. Definitely plan on going back.... highly recommended!

When we arrived and walked in, the first impression was wonderful! Such a cozy and beautiful home. Everything was decorated so beautifully. We sat with a glass of wine and noticed elk across the way in the field. We went out on the porch to see and I looked to my left! There was a large male standing in the next yard! So beautiful. Aside from watching the elk, the quaint town of Waynesville is very close by. We did lots of shopping and eating. The local breweries are very nice. After a long day we would return to “our” cabin, light the fire and play games. We will be back for sure. It was the perfect home away from home
