The good: The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful. Breakfast area and the breakfast itself are also quite nice. The hotel and the rooms are new and well - designed.
The bad: Even though I booked the room with the option to 'pay at the property', hotel charger (not pre-authorized) my credit card. This led to additional costs on my side, as I was to be charged extra by my bank for both currency exchange, as well as for doing it on the weekend. To add insult to injury, hotel charged the money instead of pre-authorizing the card which in my opinion is incompetent for a hotel.
The ugly: there was a cacaroach at the reception once, but this can be expected in this climate given that often the doors to the parking area are left wide open (while the AC is running btw, not very eco-friendly). I tried uploading the photo, but the hotels.com app does not work properly on my phone for some reason.

My husband and I stayed at the Hypnos Boutique Hotel for three nights during our first visit to Nicosia. We couldn't have been more pleased. The staff was warm and welcoming, the room comfortable and attractive. We were especially impressed with the breakfast, which was served in the roof-top restaurant. We were invited to order from an extensive menu--everything was delicious. The location is a bit of a walk from downtown, but we found it easy to get from there to the Cyprus Museum (which we loved) and the old town section of Nicosia. We recommend the Hynos most highly!

This little hotel is a jewel! Although a bit off the beaten path, everything about it is really great. The staff is always cheerful and helpful, and the rooms and amenities are absolutely great.

Cozy hotel. Has everything all. Staff is helpful and on top of this, the place offers a mobile telephone for free to make even unlimited international calls!!! All simply great. Will come back for sure.

Nice little hotel. Good size rooms with good amenities. Downsides: only two hangars provided, bed a bit on the hard size for my taste, and my room was infested with flies. I’d swat them all and then more would appear each day, even with the windows closed, which was annoying.

The room was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed. Parking was easy and convenient. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond. If we needed something, they were on it immediately. We left the lights on in the car and the battery was run down the next morning. The front desk guy and maintenance guy took care of charging it up while we had breakfast in the restaurant upstairs. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying in this little boutique hotel - it was clean, modern, and nicely designed. The room was well laid out. Really liked the little soap, shampoo, and conditioner brands that were provided. The staff were so helpful and lovely, especially the lady who served us at the rooftop restaurant! The food was also delicious. We had a car, so the location was good as well as the parking facilities. The location felt safe and was quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

There is no phone in the room to call reception, they have installed a mobile system to assist guests by all means, but unfortunately it was not working. We had to go down to the front to ask a question or to order breakfast or anything else.

First class breakfast, even now during the pandemic. The room and hotel also in great shape, cozy and clean and with no complains other than that the area is outside the city centre ans not the best. No regrets at all though - the culinary experience at breakfast was even worth the cost.

Not in a tourist area but perfect if you are travelling for business. Lovely staff and so many things that make staying away easier. Clean spacious modern rooms wit a comfortable bed, free water and hot drinks any time, good lighting and plug sockets in the right places.
