In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet.

The closure of dinner dining was not a welcome surprise as it was advertised on the web and the lack of elevators for the suites building was not acceptable. Hotels.com should make this apparent. Staff were pleasant and proffessional.

Great hotel and even greater location. Really comfy bed, everything was clean and the shower was really good! Can’t complain about anything other than it didn’t look anything like a cell

We had one of the 'cell rooms' with a bunk. Impossible for the person on the bottom bunk to see the TV! Ladder on bunk also in an odd location. Slight leak in bathroom. That said, all very clean, breakfast good and staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel. Great location at end of Main Street. Quiet and clean . Nice friendly staff. Double room very stylish but small. No wardrobe just hanging space. Can only just get around the big bed. No armchair as no room for one. Very smart ensuite shower room. Lovely breakfast with really nice choices .

The room is small compared to EU standards, it was excessively hot and the window was locked! No AC as typical but no opening window was too much. We asked for twin beds, given queen, no room for luggage or storage. If you’re there for 1 night it might work but for longer stay, choose something else. Good location for train station. Smallest bath ever! And HOT!!!

Our stay here was great! Hotel was a short walk from the train station. Room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend if your staying in Fort William

Room as tiny but really well appointed. They did so much with the space using every inch effectively. Loved the decor too. We were very conveniently located in hotel too. Quick stay but we enjoyed it very much.

Great service from all the team. Jamie helped us store our bikes and gave up her parking space. Lovely soft bed linen. Good range of breakfast options. Slightly over priced when we booked but very enjoyable stay. Black Isle Bar, Highland Cinema and Garrison West recommended too.

Good location. No view. No face clothes. Poor pillows. Nice start but Got a wake up call at 6:45am which was not meant for me.

Modern hotel n the heart of Fort William within walking distance of train snd bus stations. Staff were friendly and helpful!

I was a little unsure what I would receive as a " hostel", but the quality that I received impressed me. Great breakfast, loved the fan in the room and very private for solo travelers. Even families stayed here, so plenty of amenities for all types of travelers. The only thing that I would recommend is a small little foldable stool that you can tuck underneath the corners near the bed.

The cells at the Garrison are very small, however, after the west highland way hike, the beds are incredibly confortable!! One of the best sleeps I have had. Would stay again.

The suites are all at the back of the hotel, in their own building, so don't expect a view. However they come with their own parking spot and are very quiet. Perfect for a young (or not so young) family. By far my favorite 'room' of the whole trip (6 hotels over all).

Mostly okay, but the staff are very defensive if you request any type of upgrade or even suggest the dungeon-like rooms are not suitable. The prices are expensive for what you get.
Very noisy corridors, I had to tell other guests to be quiet as it was unbearable late at night.

The knew a booked a cell, but the room was smaller than anticipated. No room to move around and keep our things there. Also a lot of noise from other rooms, the hallways and doors slamming, specially in early morning.

The Garrison is in a great location and the room was well laid out for my family of 5. Having a washer/dryer in the room was helpful and it was overall, very comfortable.
