We stayed six days at hotel Savoy in Sistriere. It is the perfect place to spend your ski holiday in Italy - close to lifts and ski deposit at Rosannas (a cool sky shop with friendly staff also…many ski shops is a hazzle…not here). The staff at hotel Savoy are wonderful and so helpful and they always give you a smile. They were so kind to us and brought food to our son who got sick with winter flu. You feel welcome and at home. The food is excellent- and we are all some kilos heavier because we had to taste all the wonderful Italien dishes. We will come back! Friends are coming here because of our description at Insta:-) Thank you soo much.

Location was good, staff warm and friendly, beds and pillows comfy.

Breakfast was very average, lukewarm eggs, bacon and beans with sub-par coffee for Italy(!). Could have been so much better with just a little bit of effort. Lovely to have a good bath, would have been better to have a shower holder above shoulder height though. Hotel can get a bit noisy at night.

The hotel location is excellent - within walking distance of ski lifts and close to cafes and restaurants. As the hotel has made arrangements with a ski hire/ locker place - Rosanna - it made the entire ski experience very pleasant. There is no need to trudge around with your skis and boots in the morning and evening. In fact, as you ski into the ski hire - there is often someone to greet you to help you out away your skis and boots. It is also very close to the communal pool/ spa place - if looking other than the spa offered at the hotel. The staff at the hotel are so very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much for them. They helped organised our transfer from the airport and helped make dinner bookings when asked. Breakfast was the standard fair - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, yoghurt and fruit salads. Enough to keep you going until lunch time. We had one dinner at the hotel - which we thought was quite good - with enough vegetarian options. The size of the hotel was also something we really liked - not too big that it becomes impersonal.
