Amazing staff

Apparently we were upgraded to a ground floor suite, 003, but it was very noisy on the front of the hotel with bars and music outside our window. It was also very dark in the room as we could not have the shutters open due to noise and people dining outside the window could see straight in.

Defo a 5 star. Desk staff could do with being a little more attentive and ensuring you feel special, not in the way. Could do with a couple of chairs in the room too. Breakfast is beautiful and central location is ideal. Try 'Under Grain' if you can stretch to it!

Exceptional & vibrant! Luxury hotel service at its best. The moment you cross the threshold at Rosselli you know you have entered a special place. Not only is the hotel impressive but the welcome you receive will put you at ease, make you feel at home, and (almost instantly) wish you had booked a longer stay! Not only did we have a delightful (and cold!) Prosecco as we did the check-in, but we were also given guidance on dinners, lunches and activities that only a local would know about. Of course the hotel happily and graciously handled all the reservations for us. The passion of the hotel’s management and staff translates directly to the quality of the property: elegant and sophisticated modern decor enlivens this 17th century property that contains nods towards a typical riad house and a Venetian townhouse. Airy, cool and bright in the day, sparkling and dramatic by night, you will never tire of returning to your room. Once into your room you will find a comfortable bed with sumptuous linens, spacious desks, many electrical and usb outlets, and (in our case) a delightful sauna … hardly required in the heat of August, but we did it for the experience anyway! The roof top is a great place to catch some rays and views of Valletta, and the chilled plunge pool will give you all the cool vibes you need!

Fantsatic hotel right in the centre of Valletta. deserves the full 5 stars!

I like to restaurants. Both the grain and undergrain are excellent restaurants with an excellent service. The hotel looks nice and it has a fantastic location.However, it is clearly not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are not nice. I was given room on the second floor where the toilets were smelly. I therefore asked to change a superior room and was given a room on the third floor.The superior room was spacious but very dark as there were only small windows. In addition, the walls are painted in black. The shower had an issue as the water turned hot and cold which I have reported but was not sorted. Once, there were holes in my bed sheets. There was also an issue with the flush of the toilets. The hotel is very noisy and I had to put the heater on to cover the background noise.The staff is very nice and helpful and as mentioned above, the restaurants are excellent. I will not stay at this hotel next time I travel to Valletta but will certainly have a lunch or dinner at Grain or Undergrain. There is a third restaurant called Overgrain which I think is opens in the summer.

Great, modern hotel with very welcoming and attentive staff!

A new hotel (was opened around June 2019). Located centrally in the old town. The management invested a lot in the materials and quality of the hotel. The breakfast is good. The staff are very friendly and try their best.. but still there is a feeling of not getting it right. The design of some rooms over two levels is just not comfortable, bedroom upstairs but bathroom downstairs. The shower room is large, but the shower head is wrongly located causing drenching the bathroom.

Location is nice. Room is very dark ( walls, floor and bathroom in black and heavy furniture taking too much space.
