The area was great, everything in walking distance, safe, very clean, all friendly, the breakfast had many options and there was always someone there to make us our fresh Italian coffees, many choices, I definitely recommend this hotel !

A short walk to the beach. Stairs are tough but if you didn’t know Tropea has stairs that’s on you. The Colomba D’Oro was better than advertised.

What a great stay in Tropea … just minutes walk into the center of the city. Parking can be problematic but parking in a garage is offered ( if requested and for a small fee). The breakfast offered was great and fresh coffee is made upon request.

I loved this stay. The staff were extremely helpful! The check in process was so smooth. I even had an issue with my luggage and the front desk was able to call the airport and sort everything out for me. Everyone was super helpful and extremely kind and I would recommend anyone to stay here! The location was perfect for walking around.s

Good sized room with sofa. Well equipped shower and bathroom. Altogether a really nice place to stay. Typical of Italian family run hotels it was very clean. A stone’s throw from the restaurants of Tropea. Excellent breakfast!

Wonderful stay at the Colombo d'oro. Perfect location, center, restaurants and gift shops. The room was clean, comfortable and cozy. Highly recommend.

Excellent property, perfectly located 5 minutes away by walking to the centre of Tropea where all the action is going on.
Room is perfect, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom.
Buffet breakfast was excellent.
Train station is 10 minute walk away.

Everything about our trip to Tropea was excellent, including this hotel which is 2 minutes' walk form the city centre (centro storico). All the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Big shout out to the lady who was running the breakfast, she was awesome and baked the cakes herself. The morning breakfast was worth the stay in itself!
Tropea was the best part of our Italian trip and I highly recommend checking it out. We will be back

Train station not to far uphill if no problems not tot strenuous I would not suggest lots of luggage we just took ride to Scilla beautiful

This hotel is beautiful! It is In a great location, easy parking on the street, very clean and it had the most delicious breakfast with homemade pastries. The staff is also very helpful and kind. A very comfortable and perfect place to stay!

The staff is very helpful snd attentive. The location was perfect. Ez stroll into old town and the beaches. Many restaurants very close. Parking on the street was easy. Close to amenities such as mini market was great. The room was a bit too small as it was hard to put 2 suitcases anywhere but on the middle of the floor. Negative our room did not a window to the outside😪

My room was comfortable, clean and very good decorated. The location is super! The staff were very kind and helped me with all the information I needed to explore the beautiful City of Tropea! breakfast was delicious and it was served at the beautiful terrace of the hotel. I will come back to this hotel for sure again! Thank you!

We stayed one night here and the property was in a great location, walkable to everything including beach and historic sites. Room was very clean and quiet. Easy parking with our car just out front.

Nice room, big, nice bathroom, ours had a double shower, everything was clean and neat! Be aware you can change the audio language on the TV to English instead of Italian dub on all English movies and series! Breakfast buffet on a terrace up on 2nd floor, watching the palm trees gently sway in the wind! All I might have missed was bacon :)

It was fantastic time in Tropea. Probably the best hotel there ;) so nice and helpfull staff, quiet place, comfortable room. Everything is new, very clean and really beautyfull inside. It was just 1 point to change. Coffee was from vending maschine, not good. In Italy the coffee should be perfect :) I’m sure to visit this hotel the next time also !
