This hotel is very convenient because it is right on The Tammany Trace. They have several complimentary bikes to use. Several places to eat very close by.

Our stay was wonderful. The property is beautiful inside and out. We will be going back! :)

The biggest gripe I have is no counter for makeup in the bathroom. Also, we only received coffee and granola bar on the first day. Had to call for coffee and bars. Have never experienced this kind of service before. Also, our tv didn’t get any local channels and was unless to us. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The pillows left a lot to be desired.

This property is an historic home that has been converted into 5 bedrooms, large bathroom and a kitchen area with a dorm size refrigerator, microwave and Kureg coffee maker. The property is located right in the center of town. Walk to places to eat, etc. It is right on the Tammany Trace if you want to bike ride or go on a shady walk. I rented a bike from Brooks Bikes.

My stay at the Abita Springs Hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean; easy access to the room using a keypad. Cute garden and porch with rocking chairs. Very easy to park, and great dining options in walking distance (Abita beer pub and Abita cafe). Also great access to the Tammany trail - 30 min walk to the Abita Brewey! Awesome location away from the chaos.

The property had character. As for disliking anything. The food available around property was crappy.

The Abita Springs Hotel is an excellent choice for this area. Our room was very clean and very well appointed -- everything worked well. The hotel is a one minute walk to the Abita Brew Pub, Rosie's is also quite close, and driving to several good restaurants in Covington takes about 8 minutes. We never met anyone on staff at the hotel but we received texts when we needed info. The price seemed slightly lower than I expected for this level of quality.

Such a precious place!!!! Stayed only 1 night for a wedding in the area but the accommodations were very nice comfy and clean!!! Would recommend over and over and over!!!

A bit out of our way, but we’re so glad we picked it over the run-of-the-mill chain hotels. Very pretty and charming, comfy beds and pillows, nice bathrooms, lovely outdoor space and places to chill on the wraparound porch. Cute small town experience. Would definitely stay again!

The room is very well appointed. My heat didn't work and I would have froze except I had my own heater. The door lock on my room was quite difficult to operate. Otherwise the rooms are very nice.

Simply Beautiful

Good value but most rewarding is staying in a smal Louisiana town. Walk over to a few charming places. Caution one needs to enjoy ducky places that provide unique warmth. Big comfy bed, ancient warm worn wooden floors. Large shower. Reminds me of my first visit south 6 decades ago. Check the menu out a short stroll away. Yup I would return. Remote landlord get a code tap it in & turn the fat bob to unlock.

We loved our stay here! The room was so cutely appointed! And despite being an older place I found it to feel rustic but modern and smelled great! Bed was also very comfortable! The only thing I could say is that complementary water would be a nice extra touch. I always bring extra anyway so it worked out fine! The complimentary coffee pods were good. I did two cause I like a strong cup and I was actually pleasantly surprised with how good they were! I would definitely stay here again!

It’s an historic home nicely redone to give you a comfortable stay. Rooms are private and have everything you need for your stay. It’s also close to nearby larger towns for shopping or activities. We would stay again!

Nice spacious room. Very clean and well kept. Very comfortable bed and linens. Room had all the needed amenities. Loved the updated bathroom and decor. We read the previous reviews and they were very accurate which is what made book this property in the first place. We will defiantly stay here again when we are in the area!!

Very amazing place. Convenient self-check. The room is spacious, and cleaner than any hotel I've ever stayed. There were no chemical smells that always greet one when first entering a hotel room. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. The bathroom was exquisite. We enjoyed coffee in the room. Even though there was an event downstairs, the noise did not bother us. The only not-so-good thing was the darkness where we parked our car. Later lights were lit but I'm not sure if they weren't for the party. We plan to book there again when we visit.
