My wife and I stayed here and had a fantastic time. Very friendly staff and a great infinity pool on the roof top.

This property was amazing. Far enough away for piece and quite and close enough for everything else. The staff was friendly, nice and helpful. If I ever go back to Sri Lanka I am staying there again no matter what.

We had three amazing nights in Agnus. The staff was amazing, so kind and helpful. The view over Galle is great and the infinity pool is beyond words. For sure we will come back to this place. We had English breakfast and it was the best!

We had such a lovely stay here. The staff were so helpful with helping us arrange Covid tests for travel and very friendly. The pool is stunning and has the best views of Galle 10/10. Definitely recommend!!

I enjoyed th friiendliness of the place, good location for me overlooking the bay towards Galle. It was a 30 min to the place I used for diving (Sun Diving). Good food amd cold beers too :-)

The staff at Agnus Luxury Villa were amazing. All of my questions were answered by Harsha. We were staying during the Coronavirus outbreak and the staff kept us up to date at all times and were extremely helpful. The hotel itself was amazing with stunning views from our balcony and the top floor. The food was delicious - especially the Sri Lankan night, I’ve never seen prawns so big! We will definitely be returning to complete our holiday!

10/10 It is when things go wrong you find out the true person inside. We stayed at Agnus Luxury Villa for 9 nights during March 2020. Corona Virus, Curfews etc, etc. We were upgraded to a sea view room on our 2nd night, we had to cancel our airport hotel as we were not able to travel due to a curfew and the Owner gave us an additional night complimentary. The chef provided complimentary snacks each afternoon. All the staff kept working with a smile on their faces. My wife and I would like to thank the Owners and all their staff for looking after us so well in difficult circumstances. Please, do not hesitate to book this hotel in the future, 10 Minute walk to two lovely small beaches, 5/10 Minute Tuk Tuk ride (£2 each way) to larger beaches, bars, shops & restaurants. 10 Minute Tuk Tuk ride to beautiful Galle. The views from the roof top pool over the bay and sunsets were sensational. The food, beer & Wine are reasonably priced and delicious.

Pros: beautiful view from rooftop and dining area. Clean facility. Friendly staff. 15 min walk to jungle beach. Cons: did not know we were getting a garden view which only has a partial view of the sea. The beds were very very firm, like cardboard. Service was poor in the dining area, took about an hr to get coffee after repeatedly asking for it both mornings. Tuktuks complain about going up the steep hill to get to the property. It is about a 30 min walk to unawatuna beach.

Gorgeous views from the terrace and pool. Clean and comfortable. A short walk to Jungle Beach and easy to get to both Unawatuna and Galle. Staff friendly and helpful and arranged our onward travel

Amazing hotel! Beautiful views over the sea, Galle fort and jungle beach. The personnel is so attentive and kind. Modern and very comfortable rooms and very good restaurant. Highly recommend!

The pool is quite nice and the view is as expected

Very clean hotel and good service. Sri Lankan breakfast is great and a welcome change from the ones you would usually get otherwise. The manager Mr.Udaya helped us with booking cabs and was patient with our multiple requests. The staff at the restaurant and front desk were very courteous and attentive. The only drawback is that the rooms had thin walls and plastic doors so noise swept in easily from outside.

From the very moment we landed we felt like part of the family. When we return to Sri Lanka we will most definitely book this hotel again ! Five stars for sure .

This property is so beautiful and the views from the balcony are absolutely stunning. We were given a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and all members of staff were fantastic during our stay. The pool area is small but perfectly formed and is a great place to relax. My partner and I felt totally relaxed during our time here as it was so peaceful.

The place has just gorgeous and incredible views. The pool is quite small - the picture is rather deceptive. Still nice (I didn't go since it was a bit rainy). I only had lunch and breakfast - lunch was good; not off the charts but good. The included breakfast was standard fare except it was a lot of it! I had coffee too and that was good :). Next time I go I'll go in a group and take the whole place (only 6 rooms) - I think that will be a lot nicer as the place has a homely feel to it.

We experienced this lovely hotel as one of the very special and nice hotels around the world. The hotel manager Udaya and his professional staff gave us a top service in the high end of the scale and in a way, which gives you the special family-like feeling in amazing 6 days. I was ill upon arrival at the hotel due to food poisoning. The manager and one of the staff offered unsolicited driving me and my wife to the hospital and helped us through the entire hospitalization. In the evening, the manager was past the hospital with the kitchen chef's specially prepared healthy soup. I have never experienced such an energetic and empathetic service at any hotel. We will give our very best recommendation of this hotel, which has a wonderful view with good, quiet and clean rooms. A big thank you to the hotel manager Udaya and Amith / Aruna and all the rest of the nice staff for our stay and the good food!

From the moment of arrival, you are greeted with a very welcoming smile by all staff. The second thing you immediately pick up is the absolute wonder of the stunning view of the bay. It literally is just breathtaking. The rooms are neat and tidy and the balconies of the rooms has the same view that can leave you staring for hours. The rooftop infinity pool also overlooks the bay and you can catch, what is probably one if the best sunsets, from the rooftop. Area is fantastic with only minutes walk to jungle beach, and walking there is an adventure on it's own as you feel you are walking in tropical paradise. Unawatuna beach is also just around the corner and such a pleasant stretched out beach with lots of bars and restaurants. Such a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend Agnus to anyone looking to stay close to Galle or Unawatuna beach. Just fantastic

After being slightly underwhelmed with the accommodation in Sri Lanka compared to the rest of Asia, we decided to go above budget for two nights at Agnus Villa. We have to say, it certainly didn’t disappoint! The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, especially the main waiter who was so attentive; even delivering beers to our room so we could watch the sunset from our balcony! The location is a 5 minute tuktuk ride from local bars and restaurants on Unawatuna beach (around 400 Rs each way) but this didn’t bother us as we had already spent two nights in the local area. If you don’t fancy going into the town, the food at the Villa is tasty (especially the kottu and Sri Lankan breakfast) The room itself was so

Really enjoyed our 5 nights long stay. The staff are amazing and so is the view. Everything is new and fresh. 10 minutes by tuktuk to both Galle and Unawatuna. So it’s easy to get away day and night time. A little bit scary to go up the hill when you go back, but the tuktuks are strong and trustful. Thank you for our stay!
