Parking is cramped

A great deal of kindness was shown to me as a single woman desperate for somewhere to stay close to the court. All around superb. Very clean, just that there was a little dust and women see dust; men don't (laugh). It was great and I will recommend it as a good stay for other lawyers who want to be close to the courts.

We all really loved our 2 night stay here - the hosts were always friendly and really helpful with lots of local knowledge. The beds were comfy and the house has a lot of character. The breakfast was always delicious and a good sized serving.

The property was spotless and the beds were so comfy. Very pleasant couple running the establishment along with the gentleman who does you breakfast in the morning to the exact way you want it. Anytime we are in Salisbury we will be staying there if available.

We are on a 5 week holiday around Europe and the UK and had a one night stay here in the middle of our trip. This beautiful place and the amazing breakfast will stand out in our memories of this trip. Could not have been a lovelier stay!

We very much enjoyed our night at the Old Guesthouse. Plenty of parking outside and we walked in for a meal in the old market square of Salisbury which took about 20 minutes each way. The only thing is my partner is over 6ft and the ceilings are VERY low. He kept banging his head on the door frames etc.

This was our favorite stay out of three weeks in England! The home itself is beautiful, with tons of character. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Be sure to check out the gorgeous garden out back! The owners mother was always out and about helping and chatting and is an absolute treasure of a human being. ❤️

Lovely property with updated rooms and very nice bathroom. Owner recommended a perfect walk by the River Avon to the Cathedral. Plus dinner at a pub from the 1300s. All so wonderful. Then, a delicious English breakfast, customized for each of us.

My parents and I loved our stay here! Our host was so friendly and helpful, we had beautiful rooms and a great breakfast, it's in a superb location, and onsite parking is a bonus. I'm hoping to be back next year and will definitely try to stay here again.

Nice room, very clean and fully renovated with an eye for details. The owner was very friendly and breakfast was perfect. Definitely recommendable. There is a cosy commons space area as well. Specially when you book several rooms with family or friends, this common space is a Nice surplus.

Absolutely superb! Friendly, homely, welcoming and even helped us with some car trouble as we left which was so sweet!

What an amazing find this guest house is, a lovely family run business that care about their clients. There has been so much detail given to clients to see and do you will not want to venture out of the guest house. The garden is split in to several different area's but where ever you turn you will see something new, be it a fairy bathing in a bird bath to a hammock hiding behind a shrub, there is plenty of seating areas in all of the gardens. Our bedroom was on the ground floor, very spacious with a very modern en-suite, we were fortunate to have patio doors that lead on to a little courtyard with table and chairs. I can highly recommend the full English breakfast, there was plenty to choose from for the breakfast. Hosts were outstanding and nothing was to much trouble for them. Thank you for making our stay so welcoming, we look forward to returning.

Lovely stay, great hosts, cannot fault the B/&B. Easy walk into city via scenic water meadows or more directly along the road. Sadly feeling somewhat ripped off by Hotels.com as it seems they haven't passed on the substantial saving with VAT currently at 5% rather than 20%

The Stay was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable. The host was accommodating and nice to talk too. On-site parking was plentiful and the house was only a 10-15 minute walk from town.

A truly lovely experience staying at The Old House Guesthouse. Immaculately clean and well appointed rooms, warm and friendly hosts, and a delicious breakfast.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, albeit the room never got serviced so we had to use the same wet towels the following day and made our own bed, the tea/coffee did not get replenished. The bed was so hard we had two nights of restless sleep and we had no hair dryer in the room. The breakfast was adequate and nicely cooked but there was no selection of fruit, yogurt or pastries. We just had cereal and a cooked breakfast offered to us. Would we stay here again and was it value for money. I’m afraid the answer is NO.

We arrived on Christmas Day, so I did not expect much in terms of check in. Everyone was friendly. The only complaint, and this was more due to the reviews than the description itself, was the breakfast. The reviews raved about the breakfast, so we had high expectations, but it was just the typical continental breakfast, with yogurt, cereal, fruit, and a few pastries. In contrast, the Inn from the nights prior had to eggs Benedict to order, pancakes, toast with scrambled eggs, etc.. That aside, everyone was very nice and the atmosphere was great.

A lovely, friendly warm welcome given by the owner and we really enjoyed the old features such as the beams. Very clean with a good, powerful shower.

The property was as expected, cute and quaint. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and filling.
