The Stanton House Inn is an exceptional property and top choice for staying in the Greenwich Upper Westchester New York area. The grounds are beautifully appointed with meandering gardens , meditative secret gardens and an olympic sized swimming pool.The interior is quintessential New England with welcoming common areas that include such things as board games reading materials a vintage style record player and piano. The staff is warm, favorite great-aunt welcoming, and just next level accommodating especially during the lovely breakfast service! I’m a long time resident of Greenwich, now temporarily residing in West Hollywood California. I have been a business owner in the area for nearly 30 years in Greenwich and I know what’s good and what goes and Stanton House Inn is what’s very good!

I recently had a very nice and comfortable stay at the Stanton Inn. The communication from the hosts was excellent throughout my stay. Before arriving I received a phone call from one of the hosts to ask if I received a text message with the relevant check-in procedures. The mansion was very quiet, clean and had a lovely garden and terrace area out the back with an outdoor swimming pool. The people on the front desk were very friendly and my room was very comfortable. On the downside was the help yourself breakfast which was a disappointment and where one overwhelmed member of staff was taking multiple orders for the few menu items on offer.

Property functions well like an inn with hardly minimal staff. If you need anything, you text and someone gets back with you. We liked the inn and the grounds. A very minor improvement is suggested, change the use of laundry soap and fabric softener to something without a scent. Although the bedding smelled good, it was overwhelming when trying to sleep.

It was my husband and I first time staying at a bed and breakfast and it was even better than I imagined. I enjoyed waking up every morning and going downstairs for homemade breakfast and looking outdoors to their beautiful gardens. Great location in Greenwich. Very safe and quiet. Staff was superb and easily accessible with any needs we had.

The Stanton House Inn is a lovely space for a getaway weekend. Located within walking distance of a cute coffee shop and downtown Greenwich. The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was easily accessible via text and their food was yummy. The room had a tv with roku that was easy to use. Parking was free and really easy, too. Most importantly, the room had a lovely view of the garden and the house was quiet. Truly perfect for a restful weekend away!

The Inn is located in a central but still calm location.
About a 15 minute walk to the top of Greenwich Avenue, and before that, all kinds of services that one may need.
A very comfortable nice looking and stylish accomodation. And very quiet! The staff is present on site and availavble as needed, however, they are invisible the rest of the time. This makes you feel like you are staying in a private home...the other guests were visible at breakfast only.
Had problems booking an Uber the day of departure. One of the staffers assisted for more than an hour and managed to get me another car service...the day of a snow storm.
The Continental breakfast was better that any other that I have ever had.
