Clean room, with a comfortable bed and very good shower. Dinner and breakfast were terrific - good portions. The staff were very friendly and the bar/dining areas were great to spend an evening in. Lovely location too.

The Bull is a delightfully traditional and cosy inn. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff, especially Jayne, were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.. Our bedroom was very nice but we found the bed very creaky and there was rather too much noise from the traffic than we'd have liked. Otherwise we'd have given top marks..

I spent two nights here during the Henley Festval. Good value for money. It’s on the main street, so a bit of traffic noise quite late in the evening. Mattress was too soft for my taste. Staff couldn’t have nicer; I asked for a packed breakfast as I was leaving very early and the landlady, Jayne, pulled out all the stops. Thank you, Jayne.

We have just returned from an overnight stay at the Bull at Wargrave. The Bull is a gorgeous Tudor pub with rooms in the heart of the village. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, with Henley on Thames being only a 15 min. drive away. Bare in mind that the country roads are very narrow and parking is at a premium. The Bull does not offer parking, but there is a very convenient and extremely reasonably priced Pay Display car park only a few meters away. Our room had everything we needed: a comfy bed, tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, a TV and ample storage. The bathroom had a shower over bath with great water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were greeted on arrival by Jane the landlady, who could not have been more accommodating! We had dinner in the pub and can highly recommend the incredible fish pie. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order, with lots of delicious local produce on offer. We would highly recommend the Bull at Wargrave and would definitely return in the future.

Wargrave is right by Henley and after a most ill advised stay in Henley, this year I ventured a stop further afield and was well-rewarded by my adventure. The Bull is one of only two pubs in the village, and provides large comfortable rooms in a listed building with strong wooden beams. The pub is not loud, and the rom I slept in was very quiet despite the pub being on a 4 way crossing. However the cars on the road in front of the pub are stopped at a light much further back. The breakfast was ample, and the best value that I have had in my last twenty stays around the globe.

We spent a wonderful night at the Bull , Room beautiful, Sunday lunch exceptional and breakfast wonderful. Jayne is an outstanding host friendly and accommodating , her staff have clearly learnt from the best . Will definitely return !! Cannot recommend highly enough .

Amazing service and made you feel very at home

Really lovely little B & B. Lovely food and friendly staff. Parking on the street is available for 2 hours but free after 6pm until 8pm. There is a car park nearby to that has similar timings. Pub does close in the afternoon 3 - 6 so the check-in details are incorrect on Hotels.com

Brilliant overnight stay - we were two sets of couples staying after a friend's wedding. Jayne and her staff were very friendly and accommodating - making checking in very easy and after hours return to the pub was no problem. The rooms very clean, tidy and cosy with a good range of the amenities, including for making tea and coffee. Breakfast was fantastic, service was excellent and the food was delicious- we can't thank Janye and her team enough for a lovely stay, which only added to the enjoyment of being back in the area to celebrate our friends' marriage. Highly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast pub!

Lovely old pub, with upstairs accommodation; both tastefully furnished. Rare to get the feeling nowadays that you are entering a home, rather than a business. As previous reviews attest to, Jayne is a wonderful hostess - and couldn't make you feel more welcome. She calmly goes about making sure that you have all that you want and need (including realistic vegan options for breakfast!). Thoroughly recommend The Bull.

Quaint pub and great hospitality

Superb find. Cosy, friendly, old pub that is managed and kept beautifully by Jayne and her team. Top quality produce created top quality pub food. Comfy bed, clean room, good breakfast, bottled water and in room tea making facilites always make a stay perfect and The Bull had all bases covered excellently. Looking forward to a return visit next year. Thank you Jayne.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were made very welcome including our little dog. The food was excellent. We met some very friendly people.

Lovely comfortable nights sleep with a big breakfast menu to choose from in the morning, beautiful beer garden. Staff and owner were extremely welcoming chatty and very helpful and price of stay was excellent.

Jayne is an experienced, friendly landlady and the rooms are charming.

Excellent old pub in a historic village, Jane was a really welcoming host and checked with us when it looked like we might miss check in time. Great breakfast and convenient for Henley.
