We enjoyed our stay at Kyria House very much! We especially loved the location and its proximity to The Acropolis and the Plaka District. We had a two bedroom room in the rear building which had an open air patio. The included Breakfast was provided on the rooftop terrace. What a way to start our day! Manager Magda, was especially helpful prior to our stay, in reserving transport for us from the airport and to the cruise port. She was extremely pleasant and helpful! Kyria House is not a large, modern hotel chain but we loved how quaint it was. After all, those modern hotels do not greet you with limoncello and local candy in your room

This hotel is quaint. The rooms are small but that is ok because thr location is wonderful and the rooftop breakfast is fantastic. If you arent able to take stairs this place isnt for you.

We found our stay at Kyria Boutique House extremely nice. It's in a wonderful location and the staff is very helpful. Also, everything was clean and the breakfast on the rooftop was very good. I would definitely recommend Kyria to other travelers.

The only 2 things that are more of nuances, due to the age of the property and not negatives, are the room we stayed in was very small and there is no elevator but the property is only 3 stories so no big deal, just an FYI. Otherwise you can not beat the location, the staff is great and the property has be remodeled with good air conditioning.

The acropolis entrance is steps away from the hotel. It is central to many sights which made it convenient to stop back into our room for a break from the heat and to freshen up. Lot’s of restaurant choices and shopping. Room was nice, however there was a strong sewer smell coming from the bathroom when we first arrived. I think it comes from the shower drain. Also, on the last day, the maid gave us wet towels (very damp) which were all folded and placed on the beds. They obviously had not been dried long enough. Not sanitary practice as towels need to be dried on high heat to kill germs/parasites like scabies. I used my beach towel I bought in Italy as it was late at night when we noticed the wet towels. Breakfast is up on the roof, standard fare, coffee was cold every morning.

Really perfect location and adorable. A little tight but common for European rooms. Walls are thin and bed comfort could have been better. Right by Acropolis and great shopping street.

Hate to see this place get popular, but I must commend how great this little place is and to manage expectations. First and foremost, what this property offers best is location. It really is in an amazing location for exploring historic Athens by foot. It is a guest house, so don't expect the services of a big hotel and yes, it's one flight up of stairs with no elevator. With that said, the rooms are well appointed and bathrooms in great condition. The rooftop breakfast is a lovely way to start the morning. If you want something that feels local with charm and comfort - this place is for you

Great location. Very friendly staff and homemade breakfast.

Very convenient to all the hotspots. Just remember that it’s an old house that has been unfitted and the lobby has people only during the day. Other than that, you can’t find a place so in the middle of everything.

This property is on the heart of Athens, from the balcony you can enjoy the charming of the magic city

This is the best location to stay close to the Acropolis and access to the city. The rooftop for eating breakfast was our favorite.

Kyria was a superb location on a pedestrian street - right next to the Acropolis with stunning views from the rooftop where breakfast was served. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Accommodations were small but with all the amenities needed for a stay in the heart of Plaka !! I would recommend Kyria for your Athens stay

Beautiful property with comfortable suite with shared private courtyard for take away dining, located at the entrance of the acropolis in central Athens, old city. Easy walking distance from historic sites, restaurants and shopping. Just a block from the metro transit system. Morning hot breakfast on rooftop with view of the acropolis. Enjoyable visit from start to finish.

Small hotel (5 rooms) just next to Acropolis (entrance 50 meters away). Room small but functional. No traffic noice but a lot of pedestrians until 10 PM. Excellent and friendly service, transport to the airport organized. The location could not be better: all the main sites just nearby, including huge number of restaurants. Highly recommended!

This was probably the best location to stay at if you wanted to see the interesting sights in Athens. The Acropolis back entrance was just a few feet away. My wife and kids loved the property!

Great location and clean room. However, you have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs and very little English spoken. Breakfast was very good.

Magda and the rest of the staff were exemplary. You really couldn’t be closer to the Acropolis than our unique room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

This is a fabulous location next-door to the Acropolis. The view from the terrace which is where breakfast is served is absolutely amazing. The rooms are very tiny, but adequate. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace with a wide selection and abundance of food. Just outside the door Are many restaurants and shops. Magda, who was the main person at the front desk went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and offered many tips.

This hotel is literally located in the best spot. You can’t get a better location than this. The views from this hotel are also incredible (check for yourself below). As for the room and staff, rooms are very clean and modern and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommended!

The staff were lovely, but the hotel was filthy- not what I would expect from a 5 star. I actually don’t believe this is a 5 star hotel. Although the staff were lovely, the breakfast was substandard. One day there was even mould on the yoghurt being served. Also, the bread was left out for hours and so it was always stale

Good location in heart of Plaka, just next to Acropolis museum and the metro station. Small and cozy hotel, nice breakfast at the rooftop with an amazing view. Maybe best for couples and not for business travelers, but worked well for the latter one as well.

Excellent location. Close to Subway, Plaka with in steps. Near all the major attractions. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Stairs are a bit steep, but overall, a nice, comfortable place to unwind after a full day of site seeing and shopping. When we return to Greece will plan on staying here again.

good hotel

Kyria is the perfect location from which to explore all athens has to offer. Central and walkable to many of the attractions and very close to the tram. From here you can reach the entire city as well as the sea.

Staff was so welcoming and accommodating. Location is great right near acropolis and shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend
