Arriba hay 3 habitaciones muy espaciosas, todas con baño. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama King size y un balcón con impresionantes vistas. Uno realmente puede ver el teleférico subiendo a la cima de Table Mountain. El segundo y tercer dormitorio arriba tienen camas queen size.

Family members stayed together for a SA wedding, great time every one/couple had their own room and bath. Great location and easy stay. Owners and housekeeper friendly and helpful, we all would highly recommend this property for a great stay in Camps Bay.

This place is absolutely fantastic. Centrally located and close to the beach, all the restaurants and the grocery store. Very safe house and location. Huge plus for travelers, particularly those without cars. There is a nice, safe place for a vehicle but we just did Ubers. Centrally located to the major sites. Wonderful that all five bedrooms have their own baths pretty much. We loved the pool. Sure helped with achy muscles after doing table mountain. Comfortably decorated. Definitely recommend this house.

Lovely host. Virginia the housekeeper was amazing. She graciously did laundry for us which was much appreciated. Love the location. The house is filled with whimsical art. Most importantly, the beds were comfortable.

We stayed at Shirley's property a week ago in Cape Town. This was the perfect vacation rental for our group. We had 2 couples and 3 singles, so everyone could get their own bathroom (and a convenient powder room by the kitchen). There were also 2 main floor rooms to accommodate my older parents who couldn't handle the stairs.
Before our stay, Shirley kindly answered all our questions and helped me feel secure taking everyone there. We had many questions about the load-shedding, so she helped us wrap our heads around it.
Her husband met us for check-in, showed us around the property, and helped us set up a CPAP machine for one of our guests on their inverter so that he could use it even while the power was off. There were also many adapters, so we didn't have to worry about buying a bunch.
The property was very homey and literally had everything you could need. Tons of cooking things, basics in the fridge, a homemade cake, sun hats, umbrellas, sewing kits, etc. If this is your only stop in Cape Town, you can leave a lot of things at home to save room in your bags.
The area was fantastic. Super easy walk to lots of restaurants and the beach right there in Camps Bay.
If you're worried about the load-shedding in Cape Town (which was up to 6 hours a day when we were there at the high point of winter). Shirley made sure to text us everyday with the schedule so we could plan around it. There were emergency lights and candles in every room.

Owners were excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by their housekeeper, Virginia, who kept the house immaculate and even did our laundry. The house was accurately described, very comfortable, very well-equipped and well located and secure. Although our overall rating is excellent there was no central heating so in winter months it is a bit cold. But this one downside is small when compared to the atmosphere and ease of living there for the week we spent.

Our family of 5 stayed with plenty of space. Enjoyed the Camps Bay location being walking distance to restaurants, groceries, and the beach. We had an amazing time at Shirley’s home. As it is a real home, you feel so welcomed and comfortable right away. The house is huge with everything you need. The view from the garden and the balcony is stunning, onto lions head and table mountain. The house is only a short stroll away from the beach, the supermarket and the restaurants. Perfect location!

I would definitely recommend! Tons of room and a great location. Shirley was wonderful. The load sharing (daily schedules where the power is off) could be a problem if you use medical equipment as there is no generator for the property.

This property was perfect for our family of 8! Shirley has thought of everything from welcoming messages, some breakfast foods, beach bags ready to go in each room, coffee and tea and a wonderful housekeeper who helped keep us in clean clothes. The location is excellent - mere steps from the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. A very comfortable and welcoming home away from home. LOL...she even had face cloths which no one else seems to offer in SA.

House was fully stocked with anything you could possibly want. The owners went above and beyond expectations. Every time I sent a question Shirley was prompt in answering. The location was convenient to everything you could need and we walked down nightly to view a beautiful sunset on the beach. I would highly recommend it anyone!!!!

Absolutely wonderful
By far one of the best places we have ever stayed. Shirley's place is in a fantastic location just off the main strip in Camps Bay, so close to the beach and restaurants.
The house is such a home from home, everything you could ever need is there, down to a first aid kit, manicure set and reading glasses in each bedroom!
The views from the main bedroom are amazing, lions head and the mountain from the balcony!
Honestly we couldn't recommend Shirley's place highly enough, it's spotlessly clean and in the perfect spot. Shirley is so great at communicating and really has thought if everything to make your stay comfortable. Fabulous!

Einfach nur traumhaft
In einer traumhafteren Umgebung kann man sich sein Feriendomizil nicht vorstellen. Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen und bestens ausgestattet. in einem der oberen Zimmer hat man vom Balkon direkt einen Ausblick auf den Tafelbert und den Lions Head. Von den anderen Fenstern einen Blick auf den Atlantik. Uns, eine Gruppe von 10 Frauen, hat es an nichts gefehlt. Bis auf Sonntags kam jeden Tag eine Putzfrau, die sogar unsere Spülmaschine ausgeräumt hat.
Unsere Vermietern, hat uns am Anreisetag direkt persönlich mit einem selbstgebackenen Kuchen in Empfang genommen. Auch war sie sehr hilfsbereit und ist jederzeit auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Wir haben uns sofort sehr heimisch gefühlt. Unsererseits gibt es keinerlei Kritikpunkte. Ein Top Haus und eine wirklich perfekte Vermietern :))).

A dream property in Camps Bay
From the time I inquired about this property to the end of my vacation, Shirley made this a fantastic vacation for my family and I. Even before renting, she answered all my questions promptly and in detail. Once I committed, she provided suggestions on restaurant bookings, activities, transport etc.
After a long international flight, my husband and three weary kids arrived close to midnight and she was there to let us in and show us around her beautiful beach house, Bayleaf. Well maintained, best stocked vrbo I've ever stayed at (she baked us a cake!!!! and had bought food and drink essentials). Virginia kept the home neat and tidy everyday and the home itself has every modern convenience plus is steps away from the shops and excellent restaurants in Camps Bay. Not to mention the beautiful beach itself.
Unfortunately part way through the trip I developed a chest infection - Shirley offered to drive me to the local walk in clinic. When I declined her generous offer, she MET ME THERE and wouldn't leave until I did, even offering to drive me home. I have never experienced such a dedicated, warm host.
I would recommend this home with no hesitation. Cape Town is an amazing holiday destination with plenty of sights to see and beauty to take in - I've travelled extensively internationally and this place is like no other. BEST family vacation we've ever had due in no small measure to the Bayleaf and Shirley.

Family holiday
Our family of 7 had a wonderful stay at Shirley’s beach house. Although being almost winter it wasn’t beach weather we enjoyed the fabulous location close to the beautiful beach and some bracing walks . The restaurants and cafes in Camps Bay were excellent and just a short walk which was ideal as we didn’t need to drive. A great supermarket 5 minutes away was also very useful.
Shirley was a superb host , helpful and friendly, the staff were lovely and there was a birthday cake waiting for our arrival- we were really touched by this gesture. We had a superb time exploring Capetown and the surrounding area - the only problem was we didn’t have longer to stay. It was a wonderful start to our 2 week holiday in South Africa and I would highly recommend a visit . Thank you again Shirley

Wonderful location plus such lovely owners
My wife and I stayed with our 2 daughters aged 8 and 5 and our parents. We found Shirley to be so lovely and accommodating. The villa was easily big enough with so many lovely en-suite bedrooms and kitchen facilities, and the main kitchen had every convenience you could wish for. Add in the great position, just 2 mins walk from the beach and Pick n Pay, some great Camps Bay weather and we had the most wonderful stay. Thank you.

Perfect Location in Camps Bay
We arrived later in the evening to the villa after a long journey. We were very happy to be upgrated to a larger suite! The room was very clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom and outdoor sitting area. Our room overlooked the small yard and pool, which we took advantage of on a hot morning. There was also a fridge, dishes to prepare light breakfast or lunch. The best part was the location. The beach is a 1 min walk. There is a grocery store very close and many restaurants to choose from. We really enjoyed our short stay in Camps Bay and would reccomend this Villa to anyone!

The Bayleaf, Camps Bay
We rented the whole house for 2 weeks and definitely made the right choice for our first visit to Cape Town. The property is extremely well equipped and maintained to a very high standard. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach, bars and restaurants of Camps Bay and only a short and very scenic drive to the waterfront, table mountain, city centre etc. The garden is very private with great views and we always felt safe and secure. Off-street parking is an added bonus. Our only disappointment was that the pool was too cold to use during our stay but had the weather been warmer this would not have been a problem. Finally, what makes this property really special are the owners, Shirley and Keith. They are very friendly and attentive and are always happy to help with any problems or give advice if you are not familiar with the region.
